just got this map and have a few questions.

1. I don't see the ak-47 on the wall. Is this random?

2. I have no idea how to start this map. lol

@deathstar628 1. I don't know why you don't see it because its always been there for me. You can actually see it in my video.

2. you start the map by pressing "E" on the big wooden doors.

I played the game but every time I can't seem to get the ak-47. I even though it might be a visual glitch but still nothing. I don't know, maybe the director either hates me or it might be a small glitch. Overall I loved the map, but hated the tanks, and smokers, jockeys, hunters, spitters, and etc, LOL.

dude i did this by myself first try and lasted 9:56:36 just me everyone else died and what sucked was that when i do this map no matter who i do it with we end up getting destroyed because the number of special infected kinda rose and we usually die because of jockies, spitters, and a mob of the common infected dog stomping us into the ground

@xxxblizzardxkingxxx A good tactic that we've used is having at least 1-2 snipers and the rest machine guns, preferably the AK-17 because it spreads better and it's stronger. On the section for the wall, use the snipers to take out specials from afar (as I do) and stay near the NPC's as they just mow down any one and use the AK's to help them along. Continue this until you have to fall back. This next part is optional but kinda ideal.  When you fall back, stop at the top....

@xxxblizzardxkingxxx and try to gain some time. The more you spend here, the less you spend at the gate. At this point, use 2 people to grab fire items and 2 throw fire items. The fire must be continuous, if any zombies reach the gate, it falls and it gets harder. Once the citadel opens, there is a witch at the door and use everyone to mow it down quickly. Once inside, just hold out with AK-47's and the turret. It should be pretty easy at this point. Then just go to gimli when you are called

Awesome map.Here is some good advice for recording gameplay in Source games: Record a demo,then record the demo with Fraps or whatever screencap software. Recording a demo doesnt ruin quality and captures everything(even voice and stuff) and it it doesnt slow down your FPS as much.

Do you know how to record a demo though?If not here is how to do it for any Source Engine powered game:

1)Type in console - record "insertnamehere"

2)when your done type in console - stop

3)When you want to view it type - playdemo "nameofdemofile"
