Helpful tip: if you ever are out of ammo but see the merchant, upgrade the capacity of your weapon. This will allow the weapon a free re-fill of ammo while also adding more ammo then before. :)

On professional mode, it's best 'not' to buy a single upgrade for the handgun. Because you'll get to sell it before you get the Punisher.

Nowadays, the zombies usually aren't zombies at all or they are able to run ridiculously fast, which isn't really that scary. More annoying.

Hey SSoH... Just another thing that crossed my mind as far as Tuning is concerned. Upgrading capacity for guns fills them up entirely as well. Perfect when you get almost dry on Magnum or Rifle ammo.
