  • Action 52 was horrible, but they did make a pretty cool theme song to Cheetahmen. That's at least something. I wish the makers could come together with today's technology and access and see if they could redeem themselves with a new cheetahmen game. Its like the tree in Charlie Brown. It just needs a little more love and care to make it work.

  • Livin large, dyin small

  • AND NOW... THE CHEETAHMEN

  • .....and now THE EPIC CHEATAHMEN II REMIX!!!!

  • Somebody should find the composer of the original theme and give a job because he done a great job.

  • AND NOW

    THE CHEETAHMEN

    "The cheetahmen what??!"

  • here it is, the $200 dollar song, because there's nothing else worth anything in that doomed cartridge

  • I guess we should be thankful for Action 52 for giving us this theme song?

It's nice to see something good come out of something so awful.

  • ah,Cheetahmen...

Had quite a bit of potential, but it all ended up falling through.

  • cheetahmen was a glitch with a game in it lol

  • We need a Cheetahmen remake fro ps3 , xbox and Pc

    Called

    "Chetahmen Legendary"

  • I want a Cheetahmen remake for PS3!

I'm actually serious. Wouldn't be fucking awesome if a good game company takes this shitty game and makes it something as good as God of War? It would be fucking funny and awesome!

  • Why is every cartoon or video game animal with human-like characteristics a "furrie" these days? I'm a cartoonist who draws a lot of talking furry critters and it really bothers me for some reason, even though I got nothing against people who dress like a mascot at a sports game on a regular basis. I've often said myself, "Why do I have to wear boring normal clothes? Why can't I go out dressed like a fairy or a cat whenever I feel like it?" =D

Because I'd probably get locked up. :(

  • THE CHEETAHMEN RAN OFF

    AND NOW...

     ...THE CHEETAHMEN...

  • the gamemaster disliked this!

  • aaah, Cheetahmen.... best.game.ever..... NOT !! (I, hereby, shall be hanged for making a "not joke")

  • Haha, look at the 1 faggot who disliked this.

  • @Braleven

Probably the Action Gamemaster that's *still* stuck inside the TV!

  • I swear this was done in FL Studio. I the thing that gives it away is the lead, obviously "Inferno" in Systrus (Which I use all the time).

  • The music was the only reason I didn't turn the game off as soon as I saw the word "expirement".

  • 1 Cheetahman was claimed by SADDAM!

  • NOW it sounds bad ass! :D

  • I always found it funny how many of the cartoon characters from the 80's and 90's had their muscles visible (bulding trough the shirts), even tho' they were wearing buggy pants and loose shirts. LoL.

  • Horrible Game, but good music.

  • Bad game is bad ... But epic music is epic!

  • This sounds like some of the music they used in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 XD .

Good job with the remix, though =3 ! The best remix I heard of this song ;D !

  • @xAlpha621x It's not mine, in case you didn't notice. :P

  • @cheetahmen92 Oh, I didn't see that in the description D: (I was distracted by the download link XD;; ).

  • @xAlpha621x "This sounds like some of the music they used in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 XD"

This is one of those sentences that make you wish it were true.

  • Fuckin Gameeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This remix is quite good.

  • LIVIN LARGE

thats the name of my penis

  • With all of the retro love of ironic shit(and I mean that in the shittiest way possible) I don't see why they couldn't give Cheetahmen the gritty reboot it deserves. And I could see it being taken seriously(by the voice acting and/or writing) making it that sort of self-aware but still goofy yet bad ass game it could be.

  • they spend more team making the music than the game itself

  • Someone needs to make a good CheetahMen game. I can't wait for the day Cheetahmen 3 comes out.

  • @mopbrothers Have fun waiting.

  • I'd like to see cheetahmen 3 on XBL/VC/PS3 ...Beat 'em up style XD

  • the remix theme is awesome!

  • horrible game but i got to say i loved the cheetamen music

  • i looked up cheetahmen 2 on ebay. some guy wants $1200.00 for the game. holy fuck! you would have to a pretty hardcore video game collector to pay that much for a horrible game!

  • @doogrisa well, only like 1500 were made. Game values usually don't depend as much on the quality of the game as the quantity. For instance, people want insane amounts for Stadium Events for the NES as only 200 were estimated to reach consumers and you can get World Class Track Meet, the rebranded game for like two cents on amazon.

  • livin' large!

  • @meatcrob1 even if the game sucked ass, you can´t deny the team was´nt that bad.

  • WHY THE FUCK WOULD ANYONE MAKE A FUCKING REMIX TO THE WORLDS MOST SHITIEST GAME......

  • @Meatcrob1 Because the game's theme is awesome.

You left the Caps on, btw. Might wanna turn them off, it'll run your battery dry.

  • @Meatcrob1 because the music is awesome. But the game is so bad it's funny, and you need to chill out

  • @Meatcrob1 Its crap factor is legendary, and hey, the music is kick ass (:

  • @Meatcrob1 It's called irony.

  • Too much win.

  • CHEETAH RAVE!

  • All I can think of when I hear this song is Kaizo Mario World... >.<

  • Horrible game!!

But this remix theme kicks ass. :)

  • But is the world really ready for another Cheetah Men Game? I say, Yes.

  • @PENAMAT Yes but keep the active enterprises people away from it.

give it to people who give a damn about what they do!

  • I gotta admit, this is a badass theme for such a shitty game.

  • some interesting trivia: the new WWE comic book cover is strikingly similar to the cover to the Cheetahmen II box. compare the two and you'll see what i mean

  • Well, It seems like the programming base (The base they used for all of the Action 52 Games) wasn't finished properly for some fucking reason -_-

Maybe they ran out of space or some shit xD

  • I like original more than this shit.

  • Cheetamen Suks Hard balls!!!!!

(i had no idea wath that means!!!)

  • Oh wait...one Cheetman is named Aries NOT Zeus. My bad....

  • It's pretty obvious the creator of Cheetahmen got it from Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles. Siblings doused with special materials turning into anthro warriors.

Hell I can even name the Cheetahs: Hercules, Zeus and Apollo.

"Livin' Large!" Oh...you mean like "Cowabunga!?" Whatever....

  • Stupid characters, but bad ass theme!

  • 20 years ago:

    Cheetahmen: "LIVING' LARGE!!!"

    Present day:

    *R.I.P* Cheetahmen

    _ ____t_t_t_____ _

    IRONY

  • This is epic man, someone should make a flash remake of the game using this. -gets to work-

  • this is actualy quite a good remix. A lot better than the original.......*SHUDDERS*......

  • Cheetahmen theme too good.

  • what a fucking piece of dogshit!!!! worst game ever for the nes!!! awesome music though

  • LIVIN LARGE [2]

  • The game sucks a***.

    But this remix is awsome!

  • Hercules should be in brawl not Ares or Apollo

  • @Bfsuperking Maybe Aries and Apollo could be involved with his final smash if he actually was in brawl. Would be pretty awesome.

  • who knows? if they had actualy only worked on this game instead of 51 others, maybe this would have been a succesfull franchise. and who knows, one of the cheetamen could have been in brawl!

  • You're thinking of Cheetah Men 1 =P

And honestly? I like the game ^_^ Both of them.

    Hooray for Kusoge!

  • Wow, didnt heard anything so far good for long time. :)

  • Cheetahman the only almost decent game with awesome Techno music from the shitty Action 52 game..

  • RAVE TIME!!!!!!

  • terrific remix

  • damn i finally found it =D! ty for uploadin dis.

  • My favorite cheetahmen remix! Theres a cool Osu beatmap for this song!

  • 'Worst NES Game Ever Has The Catchiest Video Game Music Ever' - that's the title of an article that made me discover this theme.

It's legendary; recently a club downtown in Tampa just played it.

  • you know what i think....i think that the guys that made action 52 were purposely making all 52 games shit so they could have the one good one so bad it's awesome and have someone else make a good game out of it

  • Surprisingly great song from an awful game.

  • This is one catchy ass song.

  • Pretty simple remix, but a nice one nevertheless.

  • I totally gotta do an XG remake of the Cheetah Men theme. This is great!!

  • Thanks for the link man, They should remake this game, leaving the programing by a serius company but leaving the same theme music.

  • Holy shit.

This is fucking awesome, how on earth did that shitty game manage to have such a potentially epic piece of music within?

  • Very nice remix. But, it is actually also in Cheetamen in the Action 52 multicart. So yeah, it could just be the Cheetamen theme, not just Cheetamen II theme

  • HEEL YAY THAS GAME IS THE BEST

  • This is cool!

  • Much better then the original...

  • Where did you get the "LIVIN' LARGE!" picture!

Looks like they even made a comic for that. (?)

  • It's from the Cheetahmen comic :P You can find it on Cheetahmen Corner.

  • Thanks!

  • The music was the only good thing about this shit game. Nice remix.

  • Really, really, awful game... but somehow the music remixes of it are awesome. Especially this one.

  • It's a perfect of example of an over-ambitious and poorly managed entrepreneurship. Active Enterprises was thinking big on their attempt to make the Cheetahmen popular like Strawberry Shortcake and The Ninja Turtles, only to end up as an epic failure, overshadowed by obscurity.

  • Until now. Attempts at fangames are already popping up on the tail of all the remixes, and I think it's only a matter of time before somebody from Active Enterprises takes credit for Cheetahmen and tries to make another game.

Interestingly, as Armake said, Cheetahmen may not have been such a bad franchise in an alternate timeline. Had they focused all resources on Cheetahmen 1 instead of making 51 other games, it probably would've been good.

  • Yeah, or they could have given the idea to a company that actually knew how to make games. Somehow, I bet the creators are oblivious to the bad reception it's getting nowadays.

  • @cheetahmen92

either that, or they are too embarrasssed to have been associated with such a poor quality game. (and could you blame them if that was the case?)

  • they made a mistake that many companies that failed early did, they got FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR too ambitious for their own good.

  • If they hadn't gotten greedy trying to do a quick cash in on the video game rental market with their "amazing value" then yeah, it might have been a decent platformer that would get a nostalgia remake on the 360 or something.

  • You're right but what about the sequel it was released on it's own and it's just as shitty as the predecessor.

  • There too; they just needed a little more time and more direction. And while you can fault Action 52 for being a cruel marketing ploy, Cheetahmen II's lack of quality is more forgiveable because it was never released. Had the first actually been good, though, they may have had enough popularity to borrow funds to actually finish Cheetahmen II and make it good, and people wouldn't have forgotten to buy it.

  • People didn't forget to buy the sequel, Active just never released it.

  • True but what the hell were the developers thinking, what the fuck convinced them to make a sequel to Cheetahmen. The most notable game on the biggest piece of shit on the NES.

  • I have read a rumor that Cheetahmen II was actually developed simultaneously with Action 52. (As though trying to juggle the development of 52 games wasn't enough.) The plan was to release Action 52 as a ploy to hype people up for Cheetahmen, after which AE would finish Cheetahmen II to meet the demand they seeded. But since Action 52 was shit; the first Cheetahmen only a little less shit, the hype never came, so Cheetahmen II was never finished.

  • Why didn't Active test A52, its like they tried to purposely make a 52 decker shit sandwich.

  • Alas, Active Enterprises was one of those companies that had a dream, but also two flaws: 1) They were greedy; they were relying upon the selling point of 52 (allegedly quality) games in 1 for the price of 200 dollars, which would be a bargain had the games been good. 2) They were stupid. They had two ridiculous capitalist ventures, the first existing half as its own end and half as the means to the second's. So they both failed.

  • Who knew active enterprises were furries.

  • They give furries a bad name *shakes head*...

  • Uh... Furries give furries a bad name.

  • what are furries i thought the cheetah men were mutants half and half

  • @soggycardboardbox im a furrie and that stament just win's

  • @soggycardboardbox I don't care how old this comment is, it's awesome

  • Comment removed

  • @soggycardboardbox I know your comment was from two years ago, but I need to say something.

Being a furry, I must entirely agree with your statement, but I'm not one of the ones who go around "yiffing" everything that moves. I quite enjoy writing poetry and riding my bike.

  • @Saurota congratulation you have been troll'd have a good day SR

  • Can think u can do a cheetahmen II review?

  • Actually I made one in October but I completely forgot about it, I'll upload it sometime next week.

  • Just a note: the link doesn't work (it just writes out "Cheetahmen 2 Remix.mp3")

  • That's why I wrote in brackets (if the link works) I'm trying to figure out how to make it a proper link rather than text.

  • Naaayyysss upload! And about mp3,can't you just post direct link, raw html address?
