..as far as i know ivano has been voted the best in the history on official IHF web page..and as a Croat i admit that France may be a little better team..BUT, that Karabatic is better player than Ivano, that is nonsense..karabtic is bigger and stronger but player without creativity cannot be a "big" player :D

Da vam ja kažem moje mišljenje - ma kaki Karabatić, on je samo bik koji sveživo radi na snagu i na visinu!!! Ma Balić je ljudi moji, virtuoz, čarobnjak, pa on je najbolji na svijetu, i da stvar bude još bolja, on je takav već 7 godina zaredom! Takvih nije bilo nikada niti će ih ikada biti! :)

Balic has been officially worlds best SEVERAL times! those times he didnt come up on the first place was because his team didnt match his plays. Hes been second those times. I think Karabatic is a more complete handball player than Balic, due to the fact that he is great in both defense and offense. But I still think that Balic is better than Karabatic, because he's got some things and qualities in his style and play, that no one else can do, or even get near. He gives handball an extra dimension, and makes a sport that's already very good, even better. He gets handball to look like an art, which is something Karabatic never would be able to. Ps. I'm danish.

Yeah, me too. That's second worst defeat in our history. But we owned your ass in Portugal, that was, along with the 2005 semifinal against France in Tunisia, probably the best game this generation ever played. Denmark plays in grinder fashion, if you allow them to develop their fast game you get mashed, but if you slow down and force them to make mistakes, they are dead. Except in case when Hvidt has a good day, awesome goalkeeper.

Balic is incredible - probably the best offensive Player there ever was. Explosive, creative and just so much fun to watch.

Plus, considering his relatively (!) small height at 189 cm, I just love how he outplays the big guys in the central block.
