@mikeprong17 I don't think it's a tour. The show is called Carolina Rebellion. 106.5 is the primary rock station in Charlotte and they used to put on a big show every year called the Weenie Roast. That went away and I think this is taking it's place. The line-up is one of the best I've ever seen for a huge music festival so there's no way I'm missing it. The tickets went on sale last Friday so buy some and come on down! I purchased mine through Ticket Master and they're on the way!

I like that he says "A ringing in my ear" towards the beginning because he was diagnosed with Tinnitus, from the Latin word tinnītus meaning "ringing", which if i am correct creates a constant ringing in his ear, and he says that's why he's not joining VR, the noise of the electric guitars hurts his ears. He also says he's going to try and take a more acoustic approach.
@knightsofkhazard actually what I put I found out it was just a rumour. Myles said he was never officially called to join VR. So we both are wrong. He said he would love to join VR but he was never asked. He said it would be an honour. This is quoted from an interview he did a few months back.
Myles Kennedy is THE best rock vocalist of his generation. First noticed him when I was watching WWE Raw on tv. Wrestler Edge was using Metalingus as his theme song and still uses it now. It was such an awesome voice. Had to go find out who it was.

Slash has said he has no plans of doing any shows for this album without Myles on vocals and even wants to do an album with just him (as opposed to doing another album with a collection of vocalists like this one)!

@Arait64 I didn't know about Myles Kennedy before this album but I agree he has a great unique voice. One of the best I've heard in today's rock music. Slash did a great job on having him as a guest on this album and just did a great job on the album itself.

Slash is a rock legend! Saw him in Norfolk this year and it was kickass. I have to say, this song was like something from the Appetite days in that you just want to listen to it again and again.

@knightsofkhazard actually what I put I found out it was just a rumour. Myles said he was never officially called to join VR. So we both are wrong. He said he would love to join VR but he was never asked. He said it would be an honour. This is quoted from an interview he did a few months back.

Myles Kennedy is THE best rock vocalist of his generation. First noticed him when I was watching WWE Raw on tv. Wrestler Edge was using Metalingus as his theme song and still uses it now. It was such an awesome voice. Had to go find out who it was.

@KramerW5150 Well to me Myles has that energy and obviously amazing vocal skills to sing for Velvet and be the perfect frontman. But that's me and I get where you are coming from. I think he'd do an awesome job though and I can't think of anyone else who has that energy for Velvet songs.

@KramerW5150 oh yeah definatly, the singer from Rev Theory would be kickass to have as their frontman, but i havent heard anything about it. I heard rumors about Myles being the frontman, but i think Slash denied those. Fergie was cool for that song she did, it was surprisingly really good, and I think she should come out with a rock album haha. But yeah idk, i guess we will just have to see. But Myles or the dude from Rev Theroy would be awesome

@Brittneyx897 it'll be Myles Kennedy doing all the vocals (the vocalist in this video). Slash has said he has no plans of doing any shows for this album without Myles on vocals and even wants to do an album with just him (as opposed to doing another album with a collection of vocalists like this one)!

@Arait64 I didn't know about Myles Kennedy before this album but I agree he has a great unique voice. One of the best I've heard in today's rock music. Slash did a great job on having him as a guest on this album and just did a great job on the album itself.

Slash is a rock legend! Saw him in Norfolk this year and it was kickass. I have to say, this song was like something from the Appetite days in that you just want to listen to it again and again.
