Rocky on Colecovision retro games console

I used to kick my older brother's ass in this game. He would get pissed and then usually bust open my head with the controller. He had quite a temper.

It's just a little unfair to say the ColecoVision is from the Atari 2600 era. There's a span of five years between the commercial release of each machine!

What a classic, the Colecovision had some fab graphics for the time. I remember buying it for a "penny" because the Colecovision was already washed out. Of course I couldn't get the super action controller anymore, had to fight with the standard one so blocking was impossible, seldom I made it through the first round.

I actually had the big hawkin joystick with the finger buttons on the handle. Looked like a big sabre hilt. Wonder what that thing was called?

I don't *have* to, but I choose to, especially as I embed these vids on my own site, and giving my impressions of the games suits the purposes of my site.

Now if you really want to see game vids done a certain way, maybe you should do some yourself, and not go swearing in people's comments when they don't do them the way you'd like.

It's true. The Colecovision was almost on a par with the NES, but about 10 years before it.

I never realised how much better the games were on this system. Atari 2600 games were no way near as good as this. Awsome!!!!

1982 - Coleco Vision

1983 - NES

Ofcourse Coleco Vision is more advanced than Atari 2600, but there is a five year gap between them.

The Atari 2600 was the best gaming system for many years.

Nintendo NES was by far the most advanced system for its time (1983).

The main disadvantage of the Coleco vision was the lack of hardware scrolling.

The NES came out in 1985 at least in the United States but the Coleco Vision was an 8 bit system. The Atari 7800 should have came out in 1983 instead of the 5200 then the company would have more of a life span . I owned the Atari 7800 and the NES and was playing both consoles there people.
