I remember my ex husband complaining to me that he was the original yank holder for his mom while she balled up the yarn. Poor fellow. Now my son has taken his place. I like to place a peice of paper, tissue or binder, and ball the yarn around it, moving it all the while to create a sphere. Your way is good, too.
I have no ball winder and this video will help me alot. I can't really see how you are moving the ball with your pointer finger and middle finger to get the yarn to lay side by side, but i'm going to give it a try. Hope this goes well or I will have a mess on my hands. Thank you for this video :)
