I got new dvd Magic circle fest II yesterday and I have to tell you, that I am little dissapointed, because from my point of view Eric was literally struggled every high note. I can understand the fact, that they played really long shows and he had to save his ultimate voice. But there are some moments, where I was breathing with him. I love his voice, he was always my hero, he is the man, but I am afraid, that the days of this kind of screaming are gone...

There are a lot clips (some only audio) of live Manowar performances of the 80's. Search for example for: "Manowar 1983" or "Manowar 1989", there are always some songs, and good quality.

There are even the early live versions of courage and brothers of metal of 1986, they are so great.

You can't figure out how to make your voice raspy? Good!! Why the hell would anyone want to (on purpose, anyway)? That raspy stuff just shreds the vocal cords, and it really doesn't sound good. If you can sing high without the rasp, that's WAY better sounding, and a lot better for your voice.

And it sounds great for what he does, I sing for a power metal band, and I'd like to be able to make my voice slightly raspy for an angrier sound yet can't.
