I couldn't agree more. Yes, I understand this is a problem and I think it is good people want to help. But I have seen poverty here in the States as well. Not everyone here is rich, and I think that we need to start at home.

I am not saying I don't want to help these people, because I do. I just think we need to set our priorities straight.

But guess what- if many people give refugees a hand, more support will be granted from governments and institutions. And in this case, per every video in Youtube of people doing the protecting hands, 5 dollars will be donated for refugees. It is simple and you can help on this too!
