I suddenly just realized that this was staged (I kinda had my suspicions in the first place). If Milo was interacting with Claire, he would be looking directly into the "camera," not somewhere off to his left. To Claire, it was also seem as if he's looking somewhere off to his left since the image on the screen doesn't change relative to our position. Molyneux was trying to create the illusion that Milo was looking at Claire but in doing so, gave us a clue that the whole thing was staged.

no but at Microsofts conference they played the game while explaining it and they said the enemies now have a smarter AI that allows them to try to take u down better... they said theyre smarter and will talk to each other and make plans to take u down faster and won't appear in the same spot everytime when u replay the level... so AIs in games have upgraded alot... Milo is just one of the examples of an advanced AI... Soon enough nearly all games will have an AI like Milo...

It wasnt staged I was at E3 this year and was one of the very few who got to try it out. It works just like it was shown. We entered the room and when it was my turn i walked in front of the tv and he looked at me curiously and said "hello, who are you?" So i replied and then I walked off after he said my name back to me. a few minutes later after everyone introduced themselves they sent us in front of the camera in random order and was acuratly saying our names and recognizing us.

well from what i know they have many of them pre recorded like "hello" or "how are you" but they have them in different tones and moods. When you ask him a question he thinks about it for a minute while he repeats the question aloud. It is pretty interesting how far they have gone with this technology of A.I. programs. I didn't hear much about it as I only got there half way through the demonstration but I did get to do a demonstration. I would tell you more but I'm running out of room. Message.

No AI is that good. That thing was bordering on self awareness and we don't have that kind of processing power yet. There's a reason we don't use natural language with computers yet, it's because the AI necessary to understand it is far too advanced for us at the moment. I'm gonna have to call BS for now.
