@MisterPo I was able to fit a 50 cal can on the bottom right where the shelves are located with a little room to spare. It can barely squeeze by the hinge and the door shuts fine.
Also got this same safe at Lowes on Black Friday for $297 and used my 10% military discount on top of that which saved me tax. I think a great deal for the price. Holds my two rifles and shotgun no problem.
On behalf of my family (Father - Vietnam, Grandfather - WWII Africa/Itally), thank you Sir for your service to our beautiful country. They should give y'all a free safe and then more. Thank you!
Just to make sure I got my hands on one before the crowd, I picked mine up yesterday. I paid the regular price, but I'm going back inn tomorrow to get the price adjustment. It was okayed by the manager:D
If you're just moving it to a different room across the house I don't think you'd need one. But, if you're going up or down multiple stairs, I would use one - no sense in killing someone accidentally over a stupid safe.
I'm buying the safe tomorrow online(amazing price for a pretty decent entry level safe) so it'll be getting it off the truck and rolling it up the driveway into the garage. So just a normal dolly will work?
All I can say is, just expect it to be 2/3rd the size of a refrigerator at about twice the weight. I would recommend getting an appliance dolly if you're going up/down stairs. You can rent them at Home Depot, UHaul, etc. for $20. Be careful and go slow. And most importantly have someone that's strong help you!
Today was my 3rd time checking it out in person. I would LOVE to get the Centurion 20 instead because it has better security features and it'll fit more but I won't be able to afford it and that sucker is heavy lol. Uhaul has appliance dolly's for rent for $10 :)
A Lowes associate used an appliance dolly to wheel it out to the front and he helped my cousin n' I load it in the a borrowed truck. We put it on top of a pull cart I had at home. Was pretty easy actually haha, we just shimmied it into place. The safe is awesome and I feel soo much more secure now then just hiding my freakin' guns. I just need some anchors and to rent the appropriate drill for best security.
I am getting one for Christmas, Lowe's is running it on sale for $299.00. I have been looking for one for awhile now. I can't afford $1000.00, for the money this one at Lowe's is the best deal.
Try LED light strips from eBay to light the interior. 48 LED lights per strip and they run as cheap as $2 each including shipping. They will run off 12V DC and put out a good amount of light.
Finally checked this thing out at my local Lowes. Great regular price, the sales man told me that they get them all the time so waiting for a sale on them is wise. Look well built, too bad I couldn't take a look inside
thank you for making this video you helped me to decide on a safe. Wend to the gun store today and the darn clerk couldn't show me their gun safes on the inside because they couldn't open it.
The first number is counter clockwise instead of clockwise like most dial locks. Once you get used to your safe lock, you'll never be able to open standard (clockwise first) locks the first time :)

Thanks. I just wanted to share it with those who are shopping for one. My decision came down to a few in the same price range and there were no videos of this particular one. I think I made the right choice. Hopefully someone will find this video useful for their own decision making.

Did you need an appliance dolly or does a regular one work fine? Really wish I hadn't left the gym 3 months ago haha.

This model, unfortunately, is. Some of their better safes are made here in the good ole USA. I wish I could afford one of `em.

what is the center to center spacing between bolt holes?
wondervamp 10 months ago
@wondervamp
The floor bolt holes measured on mine are:
10 3/4 inches (center to center) front to back (depth)
14 inches (center to center) side to side (width)
ShepherdDawg 10 months ago
@ShepherdDawg Thanks for the info, I'm looking at getting one. It seems to be pretty decent for that price range.
