i got mine a couple weeks ago. it plays like a fuckin dream. anybody thinking about investing in one of these definitely should. it is well worth the money. i've heard from a few salesmen and virtuosos that the are only a few differences between the tribute model and USA model. besides the pickup and the kahler, the only real difference is that the parts for the tribute model were cut overseas and assembled at G&L's factory in Fullerton, CA. so really ur basically gettin the same thing
I like this guitar cept for the fact that the ones they are selling and Jerry's are a bit diffferent...the bridge on his guitar are countersunk into the guitar body and the ones for sell are outside..the problem being that jerry himself said the 6th string E pops out when using the tremolo alot..so if ur using whammy alot, big turn off for that reason
it was probably just that guitar. i doubt if every single kahler had the low E pop out all the time. if it did then we would probably never have heard of kahler or they would have it fixed by now. remind you it was '85 that he got that guitar, kahlers were hardly around at that time.
metallica can only wish they look as cool as cantrell, jerry has the fucking looks, the hair, the built to be a rockstar.

@loknloll Hahaha oh my god, I'd feel so bad if I were him. I mean, he IS talking to Jerry Cantrell about his very own guitar.

The only thing stopping me from getting this guitar, besides the wide neck, is the single pickup =/
