this was the fight scene i have been waiting to see! a spar between two of the greatest martial artists! i got chills watching this in the theater. they said that when they filmed this fight scene, they had to ask Jet and Jackie to slow their movements because they were moving too fast. UNREAL!

I was surprised how much I enjoyed The Forbidden Kingdom. Hollywood, after initially being good to Chan and Li, was starting to serve them poorly and they were appearing in worse and worse movies. I thought this was just going to be an easy cash in on both their names.

However I think the film delivered in terms of fun, action and little bits of comedy. The lead american guy was a bit bland but it was a good mix of Karete Kid, Wizard of Oz and the best of Chan and Li's previous films.

Yeah, Jacky says it in an interview. He and Jet went in without prior chereograph and spar, then they improvise afterward. Somehow it just worked out.

Jacky is probably the best stuntman ever lived on this planet...

Jet on the other hand, he's considered a national treasure to the chinese because of his martial arts accomplishment back in the days.

Jacky is a great stuntmen, but he not quite "real fighting" trained. Jet is a martial artist, not a fighter. He excel in martial arts, but probably won't do well in grappling/ground fights. (Jet will definitely do much better than Jacky in that respect)

Bruce Lee however, will do much better in UFC. Strikes, Grapples, Ground, he has it all. Problem is, he's kinda... buried.
