  • Hey I have a gixxer 600 and just did a full oil change before Christmas and haven't written it since. I just rode it today and noticed when my bike is started the oil in the viewer completely drops but once I cut the engine it goes right back to the full line. Does this mean it needs more oil or is it fine? I'm new to this and the last thing I want is to cease my engine. Please let me know.

  • trie to do that in other side of the bike is more easy lol sory my english

  • Nicely done :)

  • cool, app recommendation, thanks. nice Hayden 848 at the end to.

  • Very nice. Please don't say things like "pull it off by hand". That's asking for trouble.

  • nice job enjoyed video

  • Nice tutorial and great tips!

  • thanks that is a great video really appreciate you posting it!!

  • You forgot to mention to torque the drain plug and oil filter.

  • Hi, have you used Motul Engine Clean before draining out the old oil?

  • Woohoo....K&N filter!!!

  • you forgot to say that you need to ride the bike first and maybe do a few sharp turns to get all of the heavy oil gunk and deposits mixed into the oil so it doesnt stay in the bottom of the crank case when you let the oil out

  • awesome song choice!

  • this was very informative....I think i'll try it on my own b4 i ride later this year....cuz i need to save money...really need to save it, badly, like you have no idea.....lol

  • what brand is this bike?

  • @rsscoyote 2007 Suzuki SV650SF

  • That's a Beautiful SV. I never knew they make them in white. I have the 2009 SV650SF in blue with the stripe. Great bike.

  • @Quagmire88 It's custom paint. It was '07 blue till I crashed it.

  • Very nice. I must say I am impressed, we need more woman like you. :)

    One thing.

-Warm the bike before dropping the oil so it thins out.

-Don't forget a new crush washer for your sump plug. (Not entirely neccesary).

  • @elalis THANK YOU! :) Great points! I did mention that I didn't get a new washer this time...I just cleaned the old one out and made sure there wasn't any shavings on it.

  • @MonicaRidesMoto

You did too...:) I think you should make a series..:)

  • @elalis Check out my video on how to clean your chain. :)

  • Good video! Nice to see it broke down with tools and clear instructions: usually people who make how-to videos like these forget people are watching them to learn, so the more information the better.

  • @ZMagic97 Thanks!
