this is by far my ~favorite~ video on how to make turkish delight! it was nice change to see an everyday person making it, not a cook or whatever, but that's my opinion. The 1 hour waiting period was hilarious, because I looked at the recipe too and saw that I was just like, ohhhhh boy.
hahahhaha ur hilarious good job with the delight u made it looks good, BUTTT imma lazy person and dont feel like taking 1 hr on stiring lol if i wer u i would of stopt on the first minute lol but well done
Can i have the recipe please, because i been trying to making turkish delight from a recipe from this blog....and it doesnt seem to be working well....this is the recipe im reading from.
2 cups (500g) sugar
1 cup (250ml) water
3 tbsp gelatine (Aussie tablespoons are 20ml)
1/2 tsp citric acid
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
its telling me to boil for 20 mins and so on but when i put in fridge it doesnt seem to set like yours does.
hahaha YOU ARE SERIOUSLY AWESOME! loved the bit were you go it doesnt smell that good, then end up saying i think ill be licking the bowl! you are a legend! keep up the good work!! :D

I made this yesterday
I added colouring though
And some nuts inside :)
Although its better without nuts but thought id give it a try :D
