  • Gary oldman is one of the BEST actors I've seen... and he's never been awarded... that sucks!!! a madman, almost as creepy as Hopkins himself...

  • Now that's a brilliant vampire. Watch and learn Edward.

  • Ed Cullen eat your motherfuckin' heart out. THIS is a true Nosferatu.

  • So THIS is where Iced Earth gets that demonic voice from in the beginning of Burnt Offerings.

  • @Jakster840 Yup.

  • Now that's a Vampire! xD <3 Both him and Bela Lugosi rocked it like no one ever will!

  • Brilliant special effects. Pre CGI I think.

  • what did they have to do that for??? leave them in eternal life, dammit!!!

  • :O

  • I nearly hit the ceiling at 0:04

  • Can anyone tell me why Harker's hair turns gray in this part of the film onwards?

  • @ghfdfhfdndxhcg

It's from the time he was in Dracula's castle, back in Transylvania.

  • lost so much blood, was really sick.

  • @ghfdfhfdndxhcg his stress turned his hair grey. haha. its in the novel

  • @ghfdfhfdndxhcg: Cause he had a serious shock after escaping from dracula's castle. The change of hair-colour is not mentioned in the book, though. At least as far as I can remember.

Ps: I wonder why Coppola didn't re-shoot this scene. Oldman was perfect, but the others were just ridiculous.

  • @Soilwar It probably has something to do with how he's not actually a very good director.

  • @jdeanasher

Unfortunately, this film was waaaay below budget for what Coppola really wanted to do. As good as it is (due to Gary Oldman's and Anthony Hopkin's brilliant portrayals) it could have been 2 or 3 times better! Perhaps this is also the reason why the film is so "artsie". We will never know what could have been. GREAT horror film, nevertheless.

  • *_*.....<3

    amazing quote...and oh man!

  • Gary Oldman was NEVER nominated for an oscar! NEVER

  • @cordia96 Better say, has never been nominated... last I heard, he's alive and kickin' ;-)

  • is amazing..!!! no have words.... eternity...

  • when dracula appeared on the screen the first time i was like AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH KILL IT KILL IT

  • @cleba76 hahahaha so true bud .. i did the same here XD

  • keanu reeves IS a fuckin vampire

  • The movie maybe was more scary this way? an old image-line whit no color would be cool to watch on this movie...but the orginal seems irrisitible

  • The film follows Keanu's character because it is modeled after Bram Stoker's book, written from the perspective of Jonathan Harker. Keanu wasn't god-awful, but I wish they had cast someone else in his place. Gary Oldman is truly amazing in this film, and in most films for that matter. Keanu pales in comparison. One of my favorite films. The makeup is fantastic.

  • @NightBloomStudios

The book was written from multiple perspectives. It was written as a compilation of the diaries, journals, recordings, logs, etc. from the main characters. FOr example, it jumps from Jonathan Harker's journal to Mina Harker's diary and then to Dr. Seward's recordings.

  • What does Mina say at the end?

  • @unknownXbeing unclean...nooo...unclean one

  • This film would have been a lot better with more of this sort of gothic horror within it. This was an excellent costume and make-up job but it was on film for hardly a moment's time. Waaaaaayyyyy too much Keannu Reeves in this film and not nearly enough of Dracula.

  • @MrSchultzstaffel I agree. I thought the film since its title of the film is Bram Stoker's Dracula,The film should have revolved more around Gary Oldman and not so much Keanu Reeves. I mean Keanu Reeves did not have the lead roll after all right?

  • @Agaravalia1 It actually did revolve around Gary didn't it? I really liked his performance. Oscar-Worthy.

  • @SurfaceCollison Your absolutely right. Thank You for pointing that out to me. LOL!!

  • @MrSchultzstaffel I thought althought I consider it an A+ movie, I agree. I mean if it centered around at least SOME of the paranormal aspects of dracula (like the turning to fog at will if enemies arise, etc.) then it would've been more like A++++ to me. Just saying....... Wouldn't you agree MrSchultzstaffel ?

  • That does improve the film a great deal :D cheers for sharing the link :D
