I feel your pain, I really do. When I realized my mysterious symptoms, over 8 months, were related to antibiotics I took, I felt relief that at least I know what I'm dealing with. I also felt sadness & spent a few days feeling really upset, but then finally, I developed this determination, I'm not going to let this thing swallow me and I'm going to get better. I believe in my bodies ability to heal itself, stay positive, you'll come through this, I believe in you, but it will take time.

I;d recently described the insides of my legs as Twizzlers, strangely the way you painted your sculpture looks like what I feel. Do some research on Lyme disease, there's a big controversy and most doctors will just tell you that you don't have it, you have to go to a lyme literate physician who goes by the international guidelines, not the IDSA guidelines.

Isn't it more likely that you have Lyme disease? Even if you have been tested and it was negative, you could have a strain that is not tested for or a co-infection. I know quinolones can cause tendon rupture, but the delayed reaction and all these other symptoms and nervous system decline sound more like Lyme. sometimes the first really strong antibiotics cause a herx and wake up your immune system to it. Mine happened with bactrim, and thats not even a quinolone.

@rorocigio No. I have what he has from a quinolone drug. It is 100 percent the quinolone drug. It causes so much more CNS damage then what is reported. I WISH it was Lymes. That way there would be possiblity for a cure. But its not. Dont believe me. Take some Avelox when you dont need it. Be very aware of what doctors give you.

i'm on floxin for an ear infection now...how did you people take it? like in the ear or a pill or what?

my boyfriend has a scalp infection and was prescribed levaquin by his dermatologist, he didnt get the prescription because he couldnt afford it, but he had gotten a 14day trial from the dermo and it helped the infection to the point where he forgot he had it. his hair grew back in the bald spots and the infection areas were gone.

Now that he is finished with the trial bottle its been2 weeks and he see's the bumps again. what can he use in place of levaquin

@Volupt24 - Try massaging silver colloid or MMS on his scalp. Or get Dr Beck's magnetic pulser to use on his head. I've got one and use it. If you've got access to Cannabis, make an extract the way Rick Simpson shows, and rub that on his scalp.

Levaquin was given to me for Ecoli thru an IV three years ago. Within the last six months I received Cipro not knowing it was the same thing. These are CHEMO. I feel the same symptoms & it is excruciating. I feel as though my muscles are ripping away from my bones & tendons are shredding. I read that 100,000 people die in America each year do to the FDA releasing poison. Could this be a form of population control?

I was on Noroxin last March for an infection in my groin. After 5 days I woke up with a stiff achillies tendon. My doctor told me to go off it and I did. Luckily I did not get any damage from the drug, but I already had been suffering with tendinitis on and off there for a year, and still do. I however have chronic epididimytis which is like what this guy feels, but in my groin. Basically I feel like I've just had a vasectomy for the past 15 months. I believe I will make a complete recovery.

Hello bob, I am 52 and took levaquin since 98. I took twice last winter for upper res. and four doctors have been trying to find out what is wrong with me. I was told I have restless arm and leg syndrome by one specialist. It is tendon and nerve damage. On the worst days I cant walk very well..it is like I went to the gym for the first time every and worked out for 8 hours straight. Starts at the back ankle, goes up the leg to behind the knee and up to my waist. Hurts to sit. I hate it.
