In Germany it is also known under the names "Schlüsselfidel“, "Schlüsselgeige" and "Tastenfidel" ... so a free translation into the English langua would be "key violin" and/or "key fiddle" ... after the English-language Wiki it's also known as "keyed fiddle" in Britain ... but in the end "Nyckelharpa" is the real name of this instrument ^^ ;)

@braunblender Well I am not a Faun aficionado, I am only familiar with some of their work, but I will offer up what info I do know. This particular song is on their "Licht" CD. It is sung in an Icelandic dialect, as it describes an extract from the Egil Saga. I have not delved into Licht too much, but I have found some interesting gems on the "Renaissance" CD, including the song "Satyros" sung in Latin, "Rhiannon" and "Königin". Their "Totem" CD has a few interesting tracks as well. Regards.
