@canadianfs This question was actually aired in the Google interview in French, and he responded by saying that Canada's deficit is the smallest amongst developed nations. He says that several economists believe that ending the stimulus and reducing the growth of government spending would be enough to return to surplus in five years. (Personally, I still see a structural deficit of two or three billion dollars.)
good question... It seems the current administration is more keen on deflecting than answering questions in their current state.
