Cops are trained to not discriminate against sexes when dealing with an arrest. That means, they use force both ways and show no respect, as they are not suppose to. I don't think cops need to throw a punch at all, ever. There are situations that arise, and like you or I, everyone has the right to defend themselves, including the PIGs. However, most of the time (and the % is up in the 90s) the confrontation begins with the PIGs, and because it's never a fair fight, ends with them, too. Cops are trained to not discriminate against sexes when dealing with an arrest. That means, they use force both ways and show no respect, as they are not suppose to. The only time it really comes into play is during a search, of which as some of us may have seen, a few male officers stripped searched (helped) a woman, and because it falls under policy, they got away it.

I don't think cops need to throw a punch at all, ever. There are situations that arise, and like you or I, everyone has the right to defend themselves, including the PIGs. However, most of the time (and the % is up in the 90s) the confrontation begins with the PIGs, and because it's never a fair fight, ends with them, too. Typically, they always get off on charges dealing with 'excessive force', claiming 'the video' didn't tell the whole story, which of course is bullshit!

In this case however, this rookie cop, took his time arresting this individual. I guarantee this cop got off any charges, because the woman stepped in, which created a threat.
