If you truly understand Brand New, then you won't tell anyone else wht you hear in certain parts of any of their songs. What you hear is what you hear, and what the songs about to you. The lyrics are different for everyone. In fact, of the 10 times I'e seen Brand New so far, Jesse has sung more songs differently every time than not.

Agreed that the album is better, but it was still cool to hear this and nice to be able to hear the lyrics.

I don't think it's "wake up and save yourself" I think that whole line was changed and the "sink or sail" is right after wake up. Die young and save yourself really does sound better, though.
