  • So the exhaust "Tecnigas Next-R Chrome " can be brought in england?

  • niice i got same exhaust but instead of it blue mines grey :)

  • Do you have anything else than that exhaust?

  • @TheFin30

No, apart from the exhaust it is completely standard.

  • @Huib1992 what country you from? I mean, becouse here Finland scooters are very slow becouse of them "variator" systems. So what Is your speed when you have standart exhaust?

  • @TheFin30

Netherlands. Completely standard, scooters are restricted in The Netharlands to 45/50 kmh. This one had two restrictors, one in the variator system and one in the exhaust. Removing the one in the variator system made it go about 65. Then when you also remove the restrictor in the exhaust, it will go about 70/75. I never removed the restrictor from the original exhaust, I just bought this one because I thought it looked better. This one also had a restrictor, which I partly removed.

  • @Huib1992 Thanks your answer! I buy tomorrow that tecnigas next r exhaust and my scooter goes now 65 km/h and what you think what is then to my scooter speeding?

  • @TheFin30

If, like I had, there is a restrictor in it, the speed will not really increase. You then have to take it out, it is at the very beginning of the exhaust (near the cylinder).

  • lol hört sich an wie nen trockener langer furz^^

  • nicee!!

  • Huib1992@ I thought the same but my mate got an aprilla 50cc scooter and it did 50. Everything standard. It was down hill but still that's very good for a restricted 50

  • Shit scooter

  • scheiss sound

wie ne oma beim furzen -.-

  • is your SF2 liquid cooled or air cooled?

  • awsum scooter dude i have speedfight2 too and im thinking put some exhaust probably like urs :) thanks for the video

  • Hi was wondering if someone could help me i have a Peugeot speedfight 2 R CUP and i dont think its de restricted i know the exhaust is but thats it, if i bought one of these exhaust would it make a difference in speed?

  • v-max?

  • @xCeathx 45 mph, little over 70 kmh

  • @Huib1992 ok, thanks

  • Mehh.. these exhaust's are horrable they sounds really cheap i like the stock ones there not as loud and my stock is de restricted and could get the same power out of it this this one my mate has one on his speedfight and it dosnt sound the best :Z

  • did you have to make the bracket to fit the exhaust or can you buy them if you can where you get them from??

  • @mattylg

What do you mean with the "bracket"? If it's the triangular thing which you mean... it was delivered with the exhaust, it was just in the same box.

  • @mattylg So the exhaust would not fit without the triangle thing??

  • speedfights any good for a scooter?

i dnt really have a clue about scooters but i want ta scooter that will do 50 atleast

  • @scannell30

50 mph? No 50cc scooter will do that when it's standard, but pretty much any scooter will do that if you modify it a little (new exhaust, carburettor etc), as long it's a 2stroke engine. I definately like the way the Speedfight rides, but I didn't really pay any attention to that when I bought it. I just bought it because I liked the looks, later I realized that there can be quite a difference between the rides of different scooters.

  • @Huib1992 if 50mph is about 80 km/h, i want to say that my piaggio nrg mc2 SAL makes 85 - 90 km/h with an original engine ;)

  • @scannell30 piaggio zip 2003+ are good

  • thats what i want!!!

  • is this rly a next r ? mine got a Orange oval symbol around the T of tecnigas

    and i go easyly 90 with it ( standard 50cc & stuff ) so..

  • @EyeOfTheStorm123. You need an award for that sort of bullshitting...

  • i have the same exhaust as this on my sf1 and mine goes 52 mph on flat but i have 6gram rollers fitted will it put top end up if i take out the restricter?

  • @Brogden10

52 mph is pretty fast, are you sure the restrictor isn't taken out already?

  • im not sure to be honest it proberly has i just thought it sounded abit to quiet

  • @Brogden10

Well, you can always take off your exhaust to check. But I'm pretty sure it has been taken out already, 52 mph with the restrictor in it is pretty much impossible.

  • @Brogden10 have you tried 4.0 gram rollers? cause i bought a r1400 stage6 exaust and the scooter went slower so i tried lighter ones and now it goes much faster.

  • ok thanks for the advice

  • @jords61 np, keep me updated :)

  • yh it runs smoothly and is running well just alot slower, so where is the restrictor so i can take it out ??

  • @jords61 It's at the beginning of the exhaust, so near the cylinder. If you take the exhaust off, it is really easy to see. You really can't miss it. But as I said, the bike probably won't run smoothly anymore. Maybe very fast acceleration in the beginning, then very bad acceleration between 20 and 30 mph, and then fast again. But you will notice this when you take a ride again. You can solve this by adjusting the rollers. Don't know exactly how to, but your dealer will fix it in no time.

  • @Huib1992 so are you saying if you take the restrictor out it will slow it down? w/b

  • @jords61 You can adjust ur rollers and go for a bigger main jet and i think you'll be fine

  • ov gt a speedfight 2 ac and since i put the exhast on gone slower dont know wheather it is a restrictor or wheather i need to put lighter rollers in what you think ???????

  • @jords61 I think the restrictor. Is the bike running smoothly now? Because wrong rollers don't only slow the bike down, but they also cause a unstable acceleration.

My sf2 ac ran well with the restrictor in it. Yes, it was slow (40 mph), but the bike ran smoothly. When you start taking the restrictor out, you probably will have to change the rollers. I did not have to, because I only partly removed the restrictor, but when you remove it without changing the rollers, the bike probably runs bad.

  • are there restrictors in the technigas exhaust becasuse i have on on my bike and befroe i put it on i was getting about 50-55mph now only about 40-45 ?

  • @ jords61

At the beginning of the exhaust (so near the cylinder), there is a restrictor. It's a small funnel-shaped piece of mattel that makes the diameter of the exhaust smaller.

What bike do you have? My Speedfight 2 did 40 mph with the restrictor in it. The ristrictor is now partly removed, the top speed is now 45 mph. I think I would get a top speed of 50 mph on my Speedfight 2 if I would remove the restrictor completely. But the performance can definately differ per bike.

  • how loud is this exhaust

  • @gaboo24

Depends on whether you get the restrictor out or not. I partly removed the restrictor, the noise used to be a little deeper when it was standard. Still, it is not a loud exhaust, especially if you compare it with Gianelli etc.

  • My friend got technigas exhaust, amazing noise. :)

  • So overall is it a good brand? I'm thinking about getting it for a Tomos.

  • @80sjon

I'm very happy with it. I'v been using it for about half a year now, and as you can see it still looks like new. So the quality is good, but of course it depends on how well you maintain it.

The performance is pretty good as well. I recorded a top speed of 45 mph on the GPS. Still, I only partly took out the limiter, so there should be some more performance when you take it out completely.

A guy at my school has the same exhaust, also on his Tomos. Seems to perform quite well.
