I wrote a loooong reply to you, in which I wrote about the approach and a lot of details about why we did stuff in certain ways, what could be improved etc. etc...but it seems to have been flushed away. Quite frustrating!
However, glad you like what you see. It is quite an old prototype, but I believe it proved that it was possible to achieve real-time tracking, even with really crappy hardware.
The system is outdated, but can be improved in many ways. Let me know if you'd be interested.
Hey folks I really really could use motion capture like what you have created here. Congrats on your live action system. How much would you folks charge to get me the software and the specs for the needed hardware? I use 3ds MAX. Is the program capable of recording motions of two subjects at once?
