It was a pretty dumb idea of google to ditch the universal menu button and instead allow any developer to put it anywhere in their app. Why would you ruin one of the most convenient things about android? I have an iPhone, and it irritates me to no end that app settings can be hidden in the app itself, or in the settings app, or nowhere at all.

@alesslak They'll probably never get it. Android is a mess due to OEMs and carriers ruining it, causing developers to tweak dozens of variations for a single app. Carriers and OEMs will push you to buy new devices and keep you a year and a half behind Android's latest. Maybe Google will push Motorola, but rival manufacturers will probably throw a fit and threaten to ditch Android if Moto's shown too much preference. Carriers will insist on ruining every iteration. Even Nexus is getting ruined.

@littleheadspin the reason he mentioned this is because this is a new feature to STOCK Android. I know that Samsung has added in the feature into their devices but this feature is new to "vanilla" android. different phone companies "skin" their phones with different looks and features. Motorola calls its skin Motoblur, samsung calls theirs Touchwiz, and htc has Sense.

Good Cosmos, look how fast and smooth the Galaxy Nexus is! I've been waiting for an Android upgrade that would make the OS as smooth as iOS/Windows Phone 7. Looks like Google finally achieved it with ICS; lets hope it's smooth with other phones too..

Anyway, the Galaxy Nexus is almost perfect as a smartphone. Only thing missing is microSD support, but I don't really care seeing as I own an iPhone 4, so it's not like I've been using microSDs anyway.

I think I'm going to get the Razr... Moto build quality is Superior to Sammy's plastic phones and sub par radio's. The performance specs are so close its all about the materials and build quality. ICS really isn't that special but I'm sure Moto will be getting the ICS update jan of next year.

@shoaib608 Samsung has been doing this for years, cheaper but sturdy materials, superior build quality, take it from a samsung owner, they are built great, and mines lasted for a year so far. Considering most owners get cases anyway, I'd rather have the lighter materials on the inside.
