  • the spoken poem is just accapella...where'd u get the background musicfor the poem?..

  • Check out the last link in the info box-A mix by hepepe called Eventide of Freedom from CCmixter...

  • Thanks for using my remix of the Kristin Hersh song 'Elizabeth June'. It was fun making it, but even more fun seeing someone else using it! Thanks again and feel free to use another remix!

  • Your remix is AWESOME! Thank you so much for the comment! I will definitley keep you in mind when working music into my videos! Thanks for sharing:)

  • Wow! That's amazing. I probably would have just assumed seeing it that it was a Ruby-Throated Hummer!

  • Yes! I actually was thinking it was a hummingbird baby. When I was editing the video I noticed the antenna and learned it was an insect! Amazing is right:) Thanks for the comment:))

  • Really cool! Where did you get the Kristin Hersh bit? Never heard it before but really liked it.Thanks!!

  • I find my video music at 'ccmixter' where artists share their work for free. Kristin is a member. I put a link in the description part of this vid. She basically will sing with no music and let anyone put a mix to it or put it in a video, etc...It's really fun because you can see what other people have done with her song as well! Thanks for the comment!:)

  • Amazing capture, like the awesome slow motions....

  • Thank you Kclama:))

  • I have never seen anything like it!!! I am astonished. I do see hummingbirds but never like this one.Great capture

    Greetings

    Carmen

  • 'Astonished' is the perfect word:)) Gracias Carmen:))

  • Awesome! We have a lot of these around here, but I've never seen one with red coloration. I've only seen black and yellow colored ones. Amazing video!

  • Thanks! I was struggling with my manual focus though. It is a challenge when I am filming a moving object! A part of me wonders if the auto focus would have worked better...I am sad to say I only saw this moth once and the local hummingbird kept ramming into it. Probably chasing it out of town! Perhaps it will turnup in your garden!

  • Dang, I wish the hummingbirds would be nicer. They seem cute and whatnot, but they are really mean as hell. LOL. I have two feeders in my flower bed, and they still fight each other all the time! If that poor hummingbird moth makes its way down here, I'll surely get some footage.

  • I love these guys! I filmed one in my garden. Will post in a vid soon. I hope all's well with you and yours, take care!

  • Thank you wildstar!

  • I got visited by this creature a lot in the spring time. Amazing video..I like the way you captured the moments.. :)

  • I am happy you got to see one too:) Thanks for your comment!:)

  • That was incredible. I have never seen one of those before. So very beautiful! The moth makes me think of fairies.

I once got to see a praying mantis eat a hummingbird that it caught while hunting on a day lily. That was kind of gross, but amazing at the same time.

  • Thank you:) I wish I could have kept it more in focus though...I was hoping I would get another chance to film it but I think the local hummingbird ran it out of town! The praying mantis is another character! I haven't seen one this year...and one eating a hummingbird! Gross and amazing in the same sentence...I think I like that!:)Perhaps we have a new word -'grossamazing'...I do believe that works!

  • HaHA! "grossamazing" does fit the bill! :)

  • Those are some cool looking moths,I haven't seen any this year!:)

  • Yes, it was there one day and gone the next! Amazing looking creature! This is the first one I've seen. Thanks for the comment:))
