@ilikevans Yes, programs like Logic and Pro Tools are good for layering sounds. Freddiew uses Pro Tools, for example. But if you're new to sound layering, I'd recommend playing around with free programs like Audacity first, before spending any big money.

Samandiko, the better way for recording rythm guitar is to record the whole rythm section twice and then pan one to the left and to the right but i think you know that already...
