  • Just stumbled on to this and I happened to be there that night. Good show, but didn't like the ballads on the new album. Still don't.

  • Kirk wasnt kidding when he said he doesnt sweep the beginning of that solo. Fucking insane.

  • @knight116 It's pretty common to pick 3 string arpeggios

  • The band of my youth! But what ever happened to their musical skills? I think they were abducted by aliens. I can't believe Lars and Kirk playing like that... just incredible! so close to the studio version. And James' voice is awesome too.

  • @BorreLira yeah the Justice and black album era was their best

  • wow the lies lies lies part was fuckin intense

  • @EvilpriestSandoval

I thought that as well! LIE LIE LIE LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fucking intense!

  • this live performance of leper messiah gets me more pumped then master of puppets in seattle 1989, only cause leper messiah got played how many times in gold old years for metallica , like maby 4 that i kno of, and master of puppets well every concert they had since the realese aha so its understandable. they nailed this song wish it was high quality, kirk amazing on the solo

  • Apparently they even played the FULL master of puppets song in this show... I'd love to hear it!

  • wish metallica became sucessful right after kill em all imagine all great quality videos we would have

  • @MaTtMeTaLLICAFAN they were successful right after kill em all. they were successfull before kill em all. they toured north american AND europe on the kill em all for one tour, in 1983!

  • @jkjl234 They toured american clubs on the kill em all for one tour, they went to europe on an entirely different tour.

  • @Vmt16 ahhh you could be right. they were touring in europe in 83-84 though.

  • @jkjl234 More in '84, remember how (other than 3 guitars) all of Metallica's amps and stuff was stolen in January of '84 in Boston. I think they toured Europe in '84 and '85. More extensively in '86 - '88

  • @jkjl234 first european shows early 84 actually - but then theyn toured Europe almost the whole year - and recorded RTLin Copenhagen

  • At the beginning, it sounds like "two of you have a gun and a fucking lawnmower!"

  • I really miss Metallica like this.

Not only how they sounded but how cool they were.

  • @M4x6, I agree.

    James seems more polite now.

It's a shame Leper Messiah was never a single. It's probably the most accessible track on Master of Puppets.

  • Awesome!

  • Damn the setlist, Ive never heard such a set from this tour. Awesome that they played this song on this tour.

  • To add, I meant the order they played the songs, Leper Messiah I had never heard from this tour.

  • wow i didn't know a 1st gen of this show existed. nice job shane! please tell me you have more 1991/1992 1st gen/master upgrades :D

  • I sure do

  • Kirk is such a great guitarist

  • haha "bow to leper messiah...alright now!" gotta love it

  • Hey man, could you upload Through The Never from this show?
