There will be no "reform" until the health insurance industry is aborted. These companies are putting millions of dollars into lobbying against a public option. I'm for a single payer program, and we can pay for it by cutting defense spending, and getting rid of agriculture subsidies. P.S. Boehner looks like a carrot.

This plan will use the Canadian system. The governemt picks your doctors. Quality will be shitty because doctor's won't have an incentive to do their job well. Long waiting lists will be in place for basic care and esp for urgent matters.

I would have loved to have learned more about the public health care plan by watching the ABC special but oddly enough here in Southwest Missouri a republican state, they decided we could not have that information and blacked the program out. I am still not afraid of you. I watched it on the PC and I even saw your hateful ad right smack in the middle of it designed to try and scare us all.. did you play that ad on TV too.. because I wouldn't know. Jerks.

PUBLIC HEALTH PLAN:

ALL Americans are now paying in HIDDEN TAXES the cost for medical care for the "UNINSURED" who must use the Emergency Room.

With President Obama's Health Plan ALL AMERICANS will be covered. These HIDDEN TAXES will disappear.

WHY is a ... "PUBLIC GOVERNMENT PLAN" ... good enough for all REPUBLICAN SENATORS in Congress ... but NOT good enough for ALL AMERICANS who choose this option over a Private Plan??

PRIVATE:

Places the INSURANCE COMPANY between YOU & YOUR DOCTOR. The Insurance Company DECIDES what treatment they will authorize & pay for ... or what claim they will deny & cancel the policy.

PUBLIC:

Your DOCTOR is the one who DECIDES what treatment YOU require. NO profit involved. NO more red tape. NO begging with Insurance Company for approval.

All SENATORS in Congress have a GOVERNMENT run PUBLIC PLAN !!

Hey moron. In the public plan some no name politician that you didn't elect will be rationing your healthcare and deciding what you can and can not get. Oh and btw you cant sue the govt for giving you bad healthcare whereas you can sue a doctor or insurance company. I say no to the public care unless all the legislature and the president, all federal and union employees are forced to use it as their primary care, and then HAVE to pay taxes LIKE THE REST OF US IF THEY DO NOT !

The govt dosent have to make money at this. They will desroy a majority of the public system. I have what I want, I have what I need, and I dont mind paying what I pay . I do not want to be FORCED to accept what some politician wants me to have.

I will not have a choice. My employer and many others will drop our coverage because the will not want to pay the extra taxes that it will cost them. Therfore they pocket that revenue and I have to accept the crap govt system + pay for extra coverage. So no thanks I want no part of your experiment.

THE KEY PART OF OBAMAS HEALTH CARE: No longer will sick people, folks in rural communities, low-income Americans or with pre-existing conditions be forced to go without coverage. The PUBLIC health insurance plan will be available to EVERYONE. For those struggling to make ends meet, the premiums will be subsidized by the government.

A track record of innovating and improving? Like medicaid medicare and the VA system? I have heard nothing but complaints about access and delays in getting serious issues taken care of.
