Ever tried fishing with sandworms to catch bass? Here in holland it's my #1 bait for the bass. Never tried it with shrimps, mainly because there not that easy to get (live shrimp that is)

No i did not,bit next time i definitly will.Can you catch prawns offf the pier?I probably wont catch live sandeel(i dont have net),but i will try prawns.Thanks for help.Hopefully i willl catch my first bass:-)

May i just ask you what bait do you use?I am ussually spinning for pollock off the rocks,but never caught a bass.I was trying sandeel on float fishin,but had no sucsess.How deep do you present the bait?

No Problem, over the years I have had most success at dawn on a flood tide but you can get them any time of the day

what kind rig set up did u use?

10 to 12lb main line, standard sea fishing float rig with a longish length of 6 to 10 lb trace plus a short shank 2-0 to 4-0 hook with live prawn
