manual is for those who have to manage with a smaller harddrive versus the pod (i got a 100 gig harddrive and a new shiny 160 gig ipod)but most of this stuff is.. common knowledge amongst people who manually manage their shit. even the last tip HAD to be common knowledge to some people...

the copying music was stupid b/c how do you know what F-file is what? Get COPYPOD (now called CopyTrans) which does all the Identifying for you and copies everything you select (including index) straight to a desired/specified destination. You don't have to wonder b/c it shows you the same names as appears on your ipod. YAY!
