Get ALL the expansion packs before you get stuff packs. Expansion packs like sims 2 university, nightlife, open for business, freetime seasons, pets, and bon voyage allows your sims to do more. like go out to shop, own a business, experience the seasons, own pets, earn a college degree. Expansion packs add value to the everyday lives of sims, some even add more career choices. Stuff packs are just to add more clothing or furniture.Stuff packs just add furniture and clothing.

I would suggest you buy the following because they are a collection of both expansion packs and stuff packs: *Sims2 open for business it comes with 2 stuff packs (H&M clothing and bath & kitchen stuff)

* Sims 2 pets 2 stuff packs (family fun stuff and home& garden stuff)

* Sims 2 university 2 stuff packs (ikea and teen style stuff)

You have to have the original game Sims 2 or Sims 2 Double Deluxe. I recommend Sims 2 Double Deluxe because it gives you more games :)

it depends on your computers memory and video capacity, if it's low then yes, it will slow down.

well, until you become an elder i guess, but you can only have 8 people in the house at 1 time, so older kids must move out.

You get babies, they grow to toddlers who grow to children, who grow to teens (who can go to uni if you get the expansion pack)who grow to adult who get old and die

You need sims 2 (the PC game) for toddlers and you only need the base game. Toddlers are fun except they have a lot of needs and you have to fullfill them if you want to keep your toddler :P But its pretty easy. Have fun!
