I've been to Hawaii at least 15 times in the last 10 years. It's amazing what they put you through in agriculture inspection in the airports. Yet look at this! What nerve. I've always meant to make it to Chinatown but never have. Now I know not to go.

I was in Maunakea Market last week in the middle of the afternoon. and saw a rat run right in front of me from one shop to another. no bull. shit ain't changed there at all.

Oh my gosh! I guess I'll be washing bananas super well before I eat them. I had no idea that they were so prolific..I suppose it's all over the city, we just don't "see it". Why do they have Health Inspectors on the payroll in government if this has been ignored ?? Thanks for posting your video - it will make a difference (say I, hopefully!).

Did anyone think Chinatown had NO rats, and these hole in the wall places was stamped a clean bill of health daily? Disgusting and alarming?.....yes of course but do you ever know the true route of where your food came from? Hint even the cleanest places are bad I worked somewhere huge roaches would drop and fry in the fryers.... Guess where your fries went?

Thanks for catching this, I hope you report this to the Hawaii Health board or the FDA, the rat droppings alone can cause tons of problems for anyone who works or ingests the food there.
