really great ideas sense we are use to open space in canada and lots of it this is nice....esp to allow nature to grow all around us naturally .considering we like alot of acres in our yards i like this idea
That is way too much open areas used for nothing. That area should be devoted to nature, how much energy would it be to maintain all of that grass? Not to mention, that is an unnatural approach. But any step in the right direction is a good thing.

Incredible concept. One would hope that more concepts such as this would make it from the drawing board to reality, everywhere. The time for this kind of project has never been more important than now. I love this!
I think that here wind power is much more effective than solar (I've heard in the winter the snow can destroy many types of panels/or simply cover them up preventing any power generation)
