the graphic card gtx 275 is a good card getting close to the 285 the major difference is the memory size ( 896 mg ) and the clock frequencies, the CPU phenom II X3 its has a L3 memory cache ( 2 MB) witch is good and is a triple core vs duo core from intel the me memory i think this processor do not support ddr3 only ddr2 800/1066 but who dont tell me the M board

with configuration i estimated a average of 40-30 fps with no AA and medium or high settings but again crysis is a hard game

lol liar, if u had a corei7,6gigs of ddr3ram and a gtx 285, you would be able to run crysis in very high settings at 1920x1200 with 8xaa. I have a phenom 2 940 @3.6 , 2gigs of ram ddr2(533) and a radeon hd 4890 and i can run crysis warhead 1920x1200 very high and at 1680x1050 i can run it maxed out with 8XAA. here's a recommendation, turn off the AA, turn everything else up, AA sacrifices a lot of performance and doesn't make as much of a visible difference.

you don't really need a super computer to run this game. I have an 8600GTS graphics card, and I was able to play the game on Enthusiast mode. It's still a demanding game, but it was designed to run a bit better than the original crysis. The only only main issue I had with the game: was the end. I wonder if there will be a third installment of crysis. Awesome game though!

I run it real well. But it really depends more on your connection speed for your internet. You can connect to the hosts' IP and usually get a good connection. Crysis wars is awesome!

Keep in mind that I have a GTS edition. I can, and I have, run the game on enthusiast. I can also overclock the graphics card BIG time. The 8600GTS is a huge step up from the 8600GT. The memory speed and the gpu speed is a lot faster, and the bandwidth is also bigger. Besides, the game wouldn't allow me to play on enthusiast if I didn't have a card that could support it. Do some research on the 8600GTS, you'll be surprised at the how well the card performs.

Not really, Crysis had more diverse missions and the voice acting was better, Warhead is great as well but the voice acting for eagle team wasnt as good. It seems that Warhead had a little more humour in it. Both the games deserve a 10 and i dont really think that ones better than the other

A few extra weapons don't equal a new game in my books.

Explosions are still too vibrant and arcade looking compared to the realistic textures of the game (which are still the best i've seen btw). It looks like it still takes half a mag to take down one enemy (should only take 2-3 shots max). This just doesn't look like a new game to me...more of a big expansion. Speaking of which, lets hope Warhead is a lot longer than the original. Looking forward to Farcry 2.

One 4870 will run ethusiast perfectley fine 1680x1050. i get 30-45fps avg in dx9 and honestley dx9 version looks no different than dx10 version.i tried both it just has some crashing issues with dx9 and horrible stuttering/lagging issues in dx10,but with a little tweaking it get rids of stuttering and runs game smooth in both dx9 and dx10.whatever you prefer

the coding is still bad, 4 crashes to date and counting. Quad core optimisation is none existent, maybe they improved it for dual core i dont know.

running a single 4850 all on enthusiast setting (highest avail in XP) no AA, fps is anywhere between 20-45 fps, which is pretty good for crysis engine :P

I also have a single 4850 and Im very happy with the performance of it in Crysis. I played it through in Gamer and 1680x1050 because Im a fast FPS-player and need some of the extra FPS I get. But ofcourse, if Im playing around by the beach I use the Enthusiast and it works pretty well.

Please don't make me laugh.. have you tried putting any anti-aliasing on with an 8800?? fps drops significantly.

I run it using an 8800gt SLI config and can only use 4x anti-aliasing to keep a stable frame rate.
