I've been in something similar in Paris , yes they are private , and yes they are cleaned at once ! The crew is actually waiting as you use it to completely sanitize the fucker as you leave . It's worth the $8000 dollar plane ticket .

That is insane! I have to wonder if someone is coming in and cleaning the bath and shower after each person uses it though. Perhaps it is automatic or something. It's like using a public bathroom. Most people cant stand using the toilet behind someone else. Imagine using the bath tub or shower!

I wouldn't get a bath because I wouldn't want to take too much time if people were waiting, but I would use the shower. I lived in a dorm for two years in university and there were shared showers. The first couple fo showers were spent in flip flops or standing on a face cloth so you didn't touch the shower, but that quickly gave way to just giving them a quick clean before and after using them.

@WildKatCa To tell you the truth.... yeah! I also lived in dormatories in college and that is primarily the reason why I feel this way. In the dorms I would see some of the most disgusting things!!! Shower drains clogged with hair that the user only had to pick up when they left, substances splattered on the wall that I couldnt and didnt dare to try to identify, it was hell!! With pools, it's touch and go depending on where I am. But as with everyone, if no other choice I am adaptable.

In college some of us girls were so disgusted we would spray the showers down with lysol or shower shine before getting in with false hope of cleanliness. But have I used a public shower before? Unfortunately yes and I was the first one in after it was cleaned. But since it was in a public shower in Korea (stalls were seperated by a 6" wide glass pane), I was more concerned about being seen scrubbing my butt by total strangers....LOL!!!!

@777fsx200 Its not a public bathroom...its for first class passengers only. Passengers paying thousands of pounds to use that type of facility and they are constantly cleaned to look brand new again...Its not in an area where anyone is going to walk in on you in the bath. Its all private.

@777fsx200 Usually 2 or 3 of them although I'm not sure where this one is...At the end of the day...if there is 2 of them and there's the basic bathrooms with toilets etc...its ample for first class passengers to use. This is just an added extra which some airlines add to their lounges for people to freshen up before flying...although with the new a380 im sure youll already be aware, some airlines have already fitted bathrooms with showers onboard.

@bikemaninasia That's only because Lufthansa focuses more on what's on the ground, that's why they have fancy restaurants and lounges with tons of food, private rooms and bathrooms for everyone, and they drive you out in a really fancy car to the tarmac where you board the plane, having people carry your luggage for you. On the plane they didn't make as nice though, but Lufthansa is still my favorite airline.

This Bathroom/Terminal is at Frankfurt/Germany international airport. And for the retards asking who's takin a bath at the airport. I know your short distance working class priced flights usually take 2 hours untill you arrive on an overcrowded beach resort for your 2 week vacation. This bathroom is for people who need to wait several hours between 2 flights. Taking a bath can be really relaxing! FRA is the biggest continental european flight hub. (Afaik only London Heathrow is slightly bigger)

I'm a tightwad when it comes to flying, always paying for coach, but thanks to my American Express Platinum card I get free access to many of these airport clubs regardless of the ticket I'm using. You get free snacks and drinks, watch TV and be in a very comfortable atmosphere, as depicted in the video. The attendant will even alert you when it's time to board your plane in case you lose track of time or fall asleep. Airport clubs are pretty cool.

Without a doubt the best First Class I have ever been to. The Frankfurt First Class Terminal (where this bathroom is) has the most amazing buffet and drinks ever! I couldn't stop eating eggs, prosciutto, salami's, cheeses, fresh breads - unbelievable. Then, the BEST part is that they have their own customs which clears you and a lovely S550 takes you directly to the jet. Just amazing service and quality. A Mercedes taking you directly to 747-400 was an amazing experience.
