Muslims claim that Jesus prayed using the Muslim prayer posture, along with all the prophets. Yet Jesus instructed his disciples to pray while standing up. (Mark 11:25), King David prayed while sitting in (2 Sam 7:18), and Paul instructed prayer in church with hands lifted up in the air. (1 Tim 2:8) My question is: If Jesus was a Muslim, why would he instruct his disciples to pray standing up? And when it says Jesus fell on his face and prayed, how do you know he was not fully prostrate?

A muslim doesnt have to prostrate to pray, they can stand and have their hands out and pray. To your response on Jesus falling to his face and not prostrating is retarded. UNLESS Jesus was extremely flexible to stand and touch his face to the ground and/or was in a planking position, Im pretty sure he was fully prostrated.

In fact Jews are FORBIDDEN to pray at a church, but are allowed to pray at a Mosque because they believe in the same God (not to mention pray in the same way), as where Christians believe God is Jesus and use idols (Forbidden by the 2nd Commandment.) God doesn't care what kind of envelope you send, as long as He gets the message :)

Muslims claim that Jesus prayed using the Muslim prayer posture, along with all the prophets. Yet Jesus instructed his disciples to pray while standing up. (Mark 11:25), King David prayed while sitting in (2 Sam 7:18), and Paul instructed prayer in church with hands lifted up in the air. (1 Tim 2:8) My question is: If Jesus was a Muslim, why would he instruct his disciples to pray standing up? And when it says Jesus fell on his face and prayed, how do you know he was not fully prostrate?

@lisheva1 Muslims pray standing up, bowing down, and/or prostrating (fall to their faces.) There's a whole process which includes all these mentioned. A muslim doesnt have to prostrate to pray, they can stand and have their hands out and pray. To your response on Jesus falling to his face and not prostrating is retarded. UNLESS Jesus was extremely flexible to stand and touch his face to the ground and/or was in a planking position, Im pretty sure he was fully prostrated.

@JonnyBoy723 Original Jews (as well as many modern Jews) prayed in the same manner. All the prophets mentioned in the Torah (Old Testament) prostrated during prayer. In fact Jews are FORBIDDEN to pray at a church, but are allowed to pray at a Mosque because they believe in the same God (not to mention pray in the same way), as where Christians believe God is Jesus and use idols (Forbidden by the 2nd Commandment.) God doesn't care what kind of envelope you send, as long as He gets the message :)

@lisheva1 My emotions had nothing to do with my response. In the Gospel it clearly states that Jesus prayed with his face to the ground:
"Jesus fell with his face to the ground and prayed" Mathew 26:39. Therefore, like I said before, unless he was very flexible to stand and put his face on the ground, then he had to of prostrated. Jesus the Messiah did it, Jews do/did it, Muslims do it, other religions do it, what's so wrong, why are you so offended? Seems like someones using their emotions...

@azzara89hi my friend. As you rightly said, the Bible is divided in 2 parts. Old Testament, which contains the Mosaic LAW, given in a COVENANT among the people of ISRAEL and Gd Almighty. Gd had chose n ISRAEL so the Messiah could born, and the prophets. So Moses Law only applies to Jews, so OTis followed by Jewish people in the modern time.
Jesus never wrote a single book from the Gospel. Jesus came to preach the Gospel and to resume the Law of the prophets.

Christians follow NT, which represent a COVENANT among Gd –Israel and gentiles [gentiles=no jewish people]. Jewish people don’t recognize NT as they don’t believe Jesus was the Messiah. Christians don’t follow OT as the Jewish people does, we follow Jesus teachings, which are in the N T. However Most of constitutions and Laws of secular christians countries are based in Mosaic Law.

Malachi stated that Elijah would be sent to the people before the day of judgement to save the Jews.
The Jews are still waiting for Elijah as God promised in the OT.

No cancer left. Is this a miracle? Yes it is. Gd listened all our prayers. And Gd answered our prayers as well.
