I can't believe this show went 4 seasons and i'm just now watching it. Watching it from the beginning though and it's awesome. I think Don Draper is an ass, a very small person and he pisses me off most of the times, though sometimes he shows a bit of humanity and likeablenes...but I hate him...and his wife is rediculously beautiful

Fantastic show. Why? It's a magnified view of life shown through a filtered screen with a hint of nostalgia. It's escapism yet rooted in reality. Great dialogue, great characters, drama, comedy, sex, tension, betrayal, intellect, passion, adultery, lust, love, greed, competition, bad stabbing, sexism, chauvinism with an extra dose of alcohol & ciggies.

@stealth132365 It's an amazing representation of the past. Very accurate. A lot of people appreciate that, others... Well others are too sensitive.

It's highly intelligent, thought provoking and psychological. You can't treat it like CSI or friends. In order to enjoy it, the show needs the viewer to show some effort. Pay attention to details, notice the little metaphors and you'll be all set.
