Instrumental is fucking boss, female vocals DO work much better with this song, but a really great cover nonetheless. What a great song to cover too. You have taste.
Great song to cover I really like your take on it. Although others like the vocal track I don't think it sounds too great through out the song too much effects and processing. Some raw vocal bits here and there would be nice. Might I recommend the Banshees version of Dear Prudence? ;D
This was done very well. What sofware did you use for audio recording and what did you youse for video software? What video settings did you use (avi ,mpeg, etc) and what settings did you use for the youtube upload?
Daniel - You have done well at finding the John McGeoch sound - Johnny Marr was a big fan of his, what tuning did he use? I know Marr has experimented with all sorts of open tunings.
Thank you. For this one I think about half an hour working out how to play it, an hour and a half on playing/mixing the soundtrack and another hour or so putting the video together. So about three hours.
on his channel: A note about tabs: I don't know what tabs are. I don't use tabs. I don't give out tabs. I don't smerk tabs. Tabs Schmabs, enough with the tabs already!
So I've obsessively watched your amazing Smiths de/reconstructions and have shared them liberally with friends, but I just freaked out when I found this. SatB were my OBSESSION in my youth. We seem to have the same musical tastes, generally speaking, in fact. Also, your collection of amazing Rickenbackers seems to know no bounds.
I'd love to hear your take on Reptilia by The Strokes. I'd love to hear how the Rickenback goes through the bridge and chorus. Plus I think you've got the voice for it. Can't wait for your next video.
cool not my favorite by them but a great rendition!!!!! Maybe someday you can tackle Arabian Nights... that "baby machine" part with the hard guitar would sounds monumental through your Telecaster

I was a bit "cage"y at first, and the kit wasn't "cheep", but rather than listen to the "seed"-D, I decided to "wing" it and I think the results s"beak" for themselves.
Again, your taste is exquisite and talent seems limitless. You are truly one of the best musicians I have come across in a very long time and wait excitedly for your next installment. I am sure I speak for all of those lucky enough to have heard you play by saying that I appreciate the effort/ soul you instill in your work. Sorry, but I have to say this but....More Smiths, please! You do them great justice!

what chords did you use for the chorus? I expect they're altered chords on C and D, but I'm not entirely sure.
