Nice one! I have a E39 too and got the Hamann Exhaust, much louder BUT i wish i had the flaps thingy!!! I even saw a 911 Porsche with a switch in the dashboard that does the flap thing, press and it goes loud and press it again it goes silent. Is that how yours works? What brand is it? Thanx.

i translated the german word with "flaps". but i think the correct word is "valves". valves are in the exhaust which change the sound if they are open or closed.
