  • I was really enjoying that, sounded like a good basis for a song :D Also legendary guitar.

  • Hey does your guitar need any other pedals to boost the sound or will it all work just fine with your guitar running through the KP2 then to an amp, any suggestions??? Will you lose any quality doing it this way? Thanks A ton

  • One of the best examples of Sustainiac compared to all the distortion heads out there. Enjoyable man. My Stealth Pro is getting installed currently.

  • Does putting it in your guitar mess up your guitar tone?.I'm about to put it on my guitar and I'm afraid it's going to sound like crap afterwards

  • i guess it would be best to just place it to a guitar that you can afford to mess around... say an epi special/100 like he did as opposed to a gibson or prs...

nice custom with the kp/guitar nonetheless!...

  • how origional

  • this is beautiful... I think I'm just going to tape a kaoss pad to a guitar. Mark Mothersbaugh would be so proud...

  • how was installation?

  • I think that's the kaos pad, sure looks like it considering he's touching it whilst playing, + the clip named "Les paul kaoss pad mod"

  • thank you! :D

I was wondering the same thing...

  • haha yes... you can see the kaoss pad in its original state in the related vids...

  • I'm hoping thats not an Ondes Martenot in the background, cause if it is I'm staring at the next Jonny Greenwood. =P

  • This is very, very musical playing on this demo. Nice. Newbie Brad

  • where can i get one of them

  • waaayyy good dude, play more shit like this

  • dude how do u control the effects on the kaoss pad¿? with your foot¿?

aren't the buttons too small to be stepped on haha

and wouldn't that destroy the poor fragile kaoss pad?

    Please reply to this :D

  • the foot pad probably has like 2 big buttons or something like that.. or maybe more.. there are alot of foot pads for guitars. then the effects are furthermore controlled on the pad on the guitar..

  • It's explained on his site; he built an external footswitch box to connect to the KAOSS.

  • wow that was actually soothing compared to the first vid of this!

  • dude, i saw parts 1 and 2, and u didn't rly have control over it, now u've got it down man.. proper jammin with it, i want one put into my gretch jet man, it's fckn awesome!!

good work dude, keep it up

  • do you wreckon i could do it the new kp3 and would all the wiring and stuff be the same?

    thanks

  • i really want to have one these built into my epiphone les paul special but i dont have a clue how to

  • yea matt bellamy has one fitted onto one of his manson custom shop models, pretty sweet piece of kit :)

  • very nice idea to embed a korg KP into a guitar ^^ cool sounds

  • Heh....wow....okay well all other videos that I have seen the Kaoss in sound cool...I mean it sounds like an effect that I really want to play with....eh right here it sounds like music...not an effect...nice one, very nice!

  • why waste 400 for a kp3 and implement it into your guitar when u can get crazy ass guitar hardware for cheaper and better effects...common dude this is a total waste of hardware usage.

  • it's a kp2 professor, and it was $250

  • so is what you said <<<<<

  • Hey I've been a big fan of your videos since the beginning! I made a cool LED mod to my les paul, but it doesn't have the cool option of controlling a Kaoss pad! Check it out sometime :D

  • omg!!! this sound great!!!! how much u bought this guitar??? i wish i have one like urs!!!!

  • WTF HOW DO YOU DO IT!!!

  • not a huge fan of the other videos but this ones real chill. sounds like a stripped down version of something from evening star.

  • u dont use it to its proper when i record me doin this i just need put it into my guitar ill show u how its done just use a nice grungy sound then dont strum any string just use kp

  • thats REALLY cool and REALLYcreative

  • we love you phil !! hey i love you you wicked kool sex beast!!! I9 want your nipples you pleease me with your music sexually so basically what im tryin to say is you rock lol !!!

  • hey i was just wondering how you connect it all up to amp etc, which inputs/outputs do you use?

  • i dont know if its because of radiohead or muse i own a kp2 and i came up with the idea the other day only to realise that it had likely been done and be on youtube lol

  • I am currently making my own one of these and Matt it cost about £500 If you do it yourself you cannot buy this guitar made.

  • Out of all three videos, this is my favorite, like the beast is finally becoming tamed. And the abrupt switching off of the sustain at the end doesn't sound like an accident. If that ever happens on stage, you can just pretend like that's the way you wrote the song, 95% of people at concerts have no idea how this stuff works anyway. By the way, yes, yes, the guy from Muse has one of these, but now it's sounding like Robert Fripp or Michael Brook, which to me means Awesome!

  • how much do they cost?

  • Someone loves muse...

  • nice :) i think i gotta get one

  • sweet!

    do some muse stuff now!

  • Could You Post How You Put The Sustainer In The Guitar? And Also How Long Can It Hold A Note?

    Thanks
