  • Is this special needs class? How about actually teaching the kids something. How about teacin about math or democracy, so their government don't have fuck their own people.

  • this is good but they should had put the solos in it would had been soo much better

  • what is up with the flat shoes ladies?

  • diction!.....vowels are all wrong!....

    but hey awsome performance!

  • Very good quality and harmony!

  • Need a great solo and a band!

  • I don't like how they had the girls singing the melody for the "I'm just a poor boy part." Just didn't sound right. Other than that it was pretty good. I am trying to get my teacher to let us do Bohemian Rhapsody next year.

  • My cat likes it.

  • +/-. mas gostei

  • It's like dip-thong city! Worst pronunciation and diction I've ever heard. But chords were good.

  • I love those red dresses! Where did you get them?

  • THIS IS AWESOME

  • they perform in their classroom??

  • That short blonde girl is just trying wayyy too hard. You guys know who I'm talking about. She sticks out like a sore thumb!

  • to be quite honest, the harmonies were awesome!

  • Oh god pushing too much when they start dancing around and rushing the tempo. Still it's a hard song as it is, they did good all considering.

  • the teacher is good, but the choreography is limited since they have a large group and a small space, they could have done little groups of 8 or 4 or some boys girls to play off the harmonies but they can't dance around.

  • Give the vocal coach a raise. Then tie the choreographer on a stake and burn him. Seriously, it made ME feel awkward and I'm just watching it online.

  • that was sloppy. im watching GLEE :)

  • I'm not even going to pretend that I get show choirs. Too many members. Too cheesy.

  • I cried.

  • pleasesssss nooooo so off key

  • If ur a Bass too then thumbs up this ^_^

  • I like seeing the Solfege on the wall, and the students still get to perform Queen. These kids are really learning something.

  • get to sing this song for our choir... an me and my friends get to play the guitar parts... mother fuckers!!!

  • I feel that the intimacy of the song just isn't there as a group.

  • The girl 4rth from the left is so annoying!

  • i wish my music teacher was better...

  • Great vocals! Ditch the piano and do it a cappella now.

  • elite energy is so much better

  • I loved it ! <3

  • i wish totin was in this....

  • they had to skip over the part when it goes mama just killed a man to make it apropriate for school im singing this same version in my chrous.

  • is it just me or is it that at around 5:20 everybody fixes their hair?

  • @XpoopeyXRAWRX I noticed that too!

But about the video- they were really good! a lot of personality!

  • Really good job, guys!

  • They did fine... why'd they put the critical but hole in there?

  • wow. that sucked my showchoir did it so much better 2 years ago

  • they should have had a ge tar

  • The choreography SUCKS! I'm in show choir and that is the worst possible way to choreograph that dance! It's childish and it could be a lot cleaner!! The singing sometimes had word endings, luckily I know the song so I knew what they were saying. If I did not know this song at all I wouldn't be able to understand what they were saying half the time! I give it a 1.

  • I think the singing was okay, but the dancing was terrible. It was too childish.

  • It was very sloppy and not put together at all. My school's show choir has done this song before and we have only eleven people in our group and it looked and sounded alot better than this. Also, we have an actual band that is part of our group. We don't sing just with the piano or a cd.

  • It was very sloppy and not put together at all. My school's show choir has done this song before and we have only eleven people in our group and it looked and sounded alot better than this.

  • Great! Just sad that it was only with piano. Somehow feels half empty. Oh, and the 4th girl from the left!? What was that!

  • @Kropikovo what about the girl? i want to know if we think the same thing lol

  • @LoveLover5 Well, she just overacted during the whole piece. Anyone who's trying to stick out when in a choir spoils the visual part of the thing. The strength of a choir is in its harmony, not is some "wanna be more" trying to be more visible, yet you can't hear her. Wanna know why? Because it's a choir! :) I understand that someone just may be more expressive, but then it's better to go solo right from the start, isn't it. You avoid criticism, and annoyed co-singers.

  • FAIL

  • That is pretty ghetto for a festival.

  • your effort and enthusiasm was great, but it just seemed sloppy. the pianist slowed down in the middle during the instrumental break and it threw off everyone's rhythm. i thought that the outfits were great though, and the pronunciation would have helped with the sloppiness.

  • @mbutler3907 That "slowing down" happens in the real song...

  • Oh wow I really like this. I'm suggesting this to my choir teacher. :)

  • Pitches were amazing but they way you pronounce your words are horrible. I wouldnt call this choreography much of a show choir type. I did much more choreography in like 8th grade for this. Kinda boring

  • @Bajabeachtan if they didn't pronounce their words that way, their pitches would suffer greatly. Clear pronunciation is something a choir group HAS to have in order to sing/sound in tune.

  • good singing but the only thing i didnt like is the 4th girl from the left kept moving her hear like swaying it and that looked good if i were a judge i would give u a 9 and i am in chior to

  • good singing but the only thing i didnt like is the 4th girl from the left kept moving her hear like swaying it and that looked good if i were a judge i would give u a 9

  • perfect pronunciation and harmonies. It lacks emotion though. KEep up the good work though!

  • Who taught these kids how to pronounce vowels when they're singing? In fact, who taught them how sing? They're harmonies and pitches are perfect but they sound like a bunch of robots singing this. Too tight. Takes all of the emotion out of the piece.

  • nice

  • Your dresses are so pretty. :) I wish we had pretty dresses.

  • They cut out "Just killed a man" xD Psh, any parent that appreciates good music wouldn't care about the inappropriate-ness of it.

  • We did this in my show choir too it was great there

  • Goosebumps!

  • great work! how i wish my choir is like this too...

  • They did so good!!!! This choir rocks!!!!!!

  • the breakdown after the "for me for me" part", is important in the song. not good.

  • ik wat good choir sounds like and this is good just remember to stand straight and tall keep up witht he dedication :)

  • ...They skipped the "Mamma just killed a man part" :(

  • @TickleMePurplee Yeah... It sucks. It's like my choir is singing this song too and they don't have that part in the sheet music at all. Apparently it's too "violent" to sing in school.

  • @jonasbrothersmate12 That's ridiculous. I'm sure teenagers can handle that, lol.

  • @TickleMePurplee: the sheet music doesnt have that part written cause its deemed as inappropriate

  • @daddysgirl3224 I am quite aware of that fact, thank you.

  • Its because they cant say it in school ;/

  • @TickleMePurplee that takes too long.

  • @TickleMePurplee they had to (when I was in middle school show choir we did this too) because thats how it was written in the book D:

  • @TickleMePurplee Every chorus does that, don't know why. We won't do it, anyways, that's one of my favorite parts.

  • @TickleMePurplee They have to take that out for school, I wish they didn't though.

  • Comment removed

  • @TickleMePurplee Agreed :( And even more sad when we see that the video lasts around 10 minutes. They would have had time to perform it entirely.

  • @IHugShortPeople i noticed her right away!! hahaha

  • Coolest thing EVER! If our show choir was that cool, we'd be cool. O_o

  • L-O-V-E!!!!

  • The pianist is struggling.

  • That one girl in the front at the beginning was pissing me off. She needs to learn not look so full of herself. T_T I mean, wtf. She moves her head too much. It's annoying. She's probably one of these that thinks "Oh, look at me. I'm so expressive. Everyone should be like me." Hun, you're in show choir. You are not the lead of a big musical. Get over yourself. :P

  • @IHugShortPeople THAT IS SO RIGHT!!!! i mean omg!! there was a group of girls in my chorus last year that i wanted to just SCREAM AT cuz they were trying to be so loud and so everyone could see them and they, and everyone else thought they were so great, but they were all FLAT and comleately off key!!!! it gave me a headache!!! i hate ppl like that!! WTF

  • @IHugShortPeople shes my best friend...jk shes a bitch in real life

  • @IHugShortPeople I K R ! i thought i was the only one who saw that.

  • you guys probably need somebody to conduct for you given your number. might help with your dynamics as well..it kinda sounded like you focused too much on your choreography and forgot crucial parts that required certain dynamics for color and some phrases were cut too short. :)

  • great singing and the motions are funny!

  • How can anyone think this was awesome, they edited the song. They left out the part about killing a man with a gun. If you going to sing a Queen song, then sing the entire song, don't edit for the sake for offending someone.

  • @colonelphotograph IKR!!!!! i hate wen schools do that now a days!!!!! and they take out any god referance at all christmas concerts!!!! I HATE BEING POLITICALLY CORRECT!!!! ITS PART OF LIFE PPL!!! IF UR OFFENDED, THEN U NEED TO GROW UP!!! SERIOUSLY WTF!!! I blame school boards and politics...

  • @rocketsparklegirl quit praying in my schools and i'll quit thinking in your church. religion needs to stay where religion is needed. not school. not government. in church. that's it.

  • @colinjordan44 On the contrary...religion isn't just religion...for the people that do have a faith it's part of their everyday life....why should they have to repress that for the few people that whine about it?

  • @klosch84 THANK YOU!!!!!!! exactly my point!! nice to know someone else out there is supportive

  • @colinjordan44 you know what, screw it, i was just making a comment, you didnt have to butt in. you have your opinion i have mine and as long as im in existance i'll keep having my opinions! so good day!

  • @rocketsparklegirl our choir sings highly religious music. it's a given. if you don't like the music then it's just your problem. no one at our school actually cares that we sing christian choral music. it's what's sung. Even if you're athiest, it doesn't make a different if you sing it in choir, sing choir is such a privilege to be in. only the best get in, so we take what's given to us. we all like the music, because regardless of it's origins, it is beautiful music.

  • @TheTwinWhoLovesMusic *since choir is such a privilege to be in

  • @TheTwinWhoLovesMusic no no! thats not my point! and no im not an athiest, im christian and i love singing any type of hym. what im trying to say is that i LOVE christian music and i think its unfair that so many schools bann it because it offends certain people! good music is good music regardless if ur muslm, jewish, christian, athiest, buhdist (i probly spelled that wrong) or anything else!

  • @rocketsparklegirl sorry, i probably did the same. if you think i'm athiest, i'm not. I am actually a pastor's daughter. i had to cut down the comment so it made it a little more hostile than i ever meant (well a lot more actually). but i notice that even the athiests have no problem with the christian music. it's beautiful music and i love listening to it as much as everyone else. :-)

  • @TheTwinWhoLovesMusic Its alright. =D well its good to see someone else shares my view. you sound a lot like a girl who goes to my school actually. i think christian music is classic and was a part of life for a lot of people. its very beautiful and i think people should be able to sing it outside of just churches.

  • @rocketsparklegirl Unless you're Canadian, that couldn't be. :-P

  • @TheTwinWhoLovesMusic nahh im not. u just sound like a girl i know. =P

  • How can anyone think this was awesome, they edited the song. They left out the part about killing a man with a gun. If you going to sing a Queen song, then sing the entire song, don't edit for the sake for offending someone.

  • @colonelphotograph

I was in this like.. 2 years ago. It's not their decision to cut that part. That was how the music was written, and you are not allowed to make edits in competitions like FVA solo/ensemble.

  • Ok so I know glee clubs arnt like GLEE THE FOX tv show, BUT, heres a suggestion... Pick your best male vocalist and then best female vocalist... thats what got my cousins team 1st place in state... they used there best singers for solos! and songs like this, they NEEDED there soloists. You should do that! Because... they kinnda suck. Watch glee on fox... use it as your INSPERATION! Oh and btw... 1 out of how many kids u have lol was using emotion. They werent feelin da song w da emotion it needs

  • @looloochoochoo wow we have a youtube choir expert here... yall killed it

  • awesome coversong talk about class participation they are all superstars in my book

  • omg tht was awesome! so cute :)

  • this is REALLY good. Wow im impressed!

  • was pretty much awesome only the fourth girl starting from left (the blond) was making is show....

  • omg love this totaly reminds me of my own show choir :)

  • Arranged by Mark Brymer? I met and worked with him at Show Choir Camps of America in Decatur, Illinois 2010

  • why is it in a classroom ?

  • umm.. where is the dancing stop sitting down . no solos ? you bored me at the beginining.

  • My heart swells for joy...hahaha, I'm just a teen myself, and I could only but WISH our choir could sound and try as hard like this. I can't believe people would say you guys sound bad.

    Great job!

  • wow!! i really like this!

    whoao you guys are ammazingg:DDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • Your voices are amazingggg. And Glee copied you! They have the same room too (and used this arrangement)!

  • Comment removed

  • @calispiker7 The producers of Glee actually modeled the choir room from a public school in Burbank California named John Burroughs high school who has a nationally known Show choir named Powerhouse who were the inspiration of the show and the version of Bohemian Rhapsody song on Glee is a different arrangement. These guys sound good though. Just wish they had an awesome soloist and better choreo but then again with the space they had, idont blame them but they did an awesome job.

  • Ive spotted quite a few over actors and you all sound very young and poorly trained

  • Great vocals. Well done All!

  • Vocals are amazing!

  • wow! our college choir did this song for our Christmas concert. i love singing this...

  • The singing is beautiful!

  • Out of tune from the get....

  • @hig ...and over enunciation...

  • more coreo would have been nicer....

  • Great performance, terrible arrangement. Like the version our choir is doing much better and the censorship is stupid.

  • Momma just killed a MAN!

  • awesome

  • what was amazing!

  • why miss out the killed a man bit.... its the best bit

  • @Tvrkan It might be because it's a rather sensitive line. I'm just stating the possibilities where a student's mom might have killed a man?

  • @Tvrkan same thing happened with my chorus, we skipped it. i think its casue its about killing

  • Can someone tell me where to buy the arrangement? Would LOVE to sing it!

  • fa cacare

  • Good, but huge tear right as you enter the first fast part of the song at 2:33. Gotta listen to who is giving you your tempo! But other than that, good stuff.

  • haha really good : )

...especially the downblouse blond in the middle ; )

  • wow!!

  • This was awesome! Best version I have heard yet.

I watch this video everyday. It's greatly put together and you all have an awesome sound!

  • really awesome!! my eighth grade class is singing a queen medley; i'm so excited!

  • for those who have heard it before this you will notice they left out the "momma, just killed a man...

  • @austinmexacanpony It's not in the arranqement (:

  • We're doing this in normal choir!!!!!!!!!!!

  • that was awesome

  • good job, but I think it would have been better as an a capella version or as he says with more instruments

  • damn...show choir looks awesome....i'm in regular choir....and we're singing this song right now, it's amazing

  • that's just awesome!!!

  • Yeah I have to agree, this is not what my show choir is like at all, or any one I've seen for that matter, but good job guys it was really cute

  • WOOOoaahha. This show choir is a TON different than the show choir I'm in. Type in "Waconia Power Company" and see the difference!!

But you guys did a lovely job!! I love the costumes and song. :)

  • That was damn awesome!

  • We did something like that, but instead "The hits of Queen' or something like that. I was getting bored in the beginning but got a lot better! Our school has dresses like that but sparkly and makes way to much noise when we walk. haha. Good Job!

  • Not bad. However I noticed thru the whole song that it was in Forte. Try singing more quiet at times.

  • stupid censored arrangement

  • unprofessional?? my ass! i wish the show choir i was in did something like this!

  • this is really unprofessional.. music is great tho

  • I am jealous of their not ugly choir dresses. What the heck? Ours were black and made out of horrible fabric with long puffy sleeves. Gross.

    Great performance!!

  • Our girls wear black with sparkles...don't feel bad...lol

  • Same, we call'm the bedazzeled trashbag =]

  • It´s really brilliant! Congrats!!!!

  • I realli like the way u men and women performed this! i feel it was very creative and cute =)

  • And, the ending ("Nothing really matters") is not straigt, the "re" in really is shorter and the "lly" in really is longer. Same with matter.

  • I think this has got to do with the fact that this part is not done by a solo singer but by a choir, and a numerous one ; I guess because of that, the rhythms, the diction, have to be a bit... umm... say, more regular, in order not to put the "ensemble" into danger.

  • Ah, agreed.

  • How about a more emotional piano player, especially during the "guitar solo"? Could the part not have at least been played an octave higher or anything to create more excitement?

I did not hear any crucially terrible segments that were out of time.

  • Somewhat rigid and slightly pretentious, but Maybe with a fair amount of practice (incl. listening to the original song!) there's some hope...maybe.

  • Sounded good but at one time i was ripping my hair out cos it was out of time when it sped up, but i thought it was really well sung and choriagraphed :D x

  • our show choir did the exact same song...&& whats funny is we have almost the same outfits as you guys too.lol

  • hahahaha this is weird. my show choir also did this song, and we also have similar outfits!

  • sIGO SIN ENTENDER POR QUE CANTAN MAL LA CANCION ASI NO VA!!!!

  • our high school show choir did this for our first performance this year but our choreography took longer and was a lot harder, but it was great.

  • wc singers so did this in 05 ROBBERS YOU ARE

  • it's not fitting to guitar strum a guitar solo if it's played with piano T.T

  • so much fun!

  • The one blond girl is REALLY good... You can tell she's done this before.

Not all of it is bad. The girl's show choir at my school sang Girlfriend by Avril Lavigne last year, and we had to edit out the hell yeah I'm the mother f*ckin princess bit. Still sounded amazing.

  • lol, if it were my school you wouldn't be allowed to sing the song at all xD

  • They cut the gun line out. That's why School related programs suck. Don't do something if you have to edit it!

But it sounded pretty good though.

  • badass!

  • the set up was poor, i think.

    the singing, was good.

  • you have shamed queen!!!!!! my show choir back in high school did this and we kicked ass...come on guys this song rocks, more heart!

  • wow, I think it's awesome!!!

    you kids are so cool.

    great!

don't listen to the haters. they will always be there.
