From a person, who considers himself to be an "IM", even tho u ain't black, its good, for u 2 have this book in your dossier. This is one of the FEW books that gives a valid & ever- relevant acct of the "black experience".

Any white person who can tell be about Ellison's IM, is okay "in my book"! lol

Okay... Im going to have to agree with rabalac10 on this one. This video does no justice to the book. Dont get me wrong. I dont think it was fair of the teacher to ask you to make a video to this novel. Hell, there isnt even a motion picture out there that I know of for Ellisons masterpiece. But the music and the entire video in general just doesnt fit with the book.

Is this video sopossed to be about a man who experienced racism. Why is it featuring a white kid who seems to be searching for his shadow. If he is Invisible he is supposed to be ignored by people.

The book is more about the quest for an individual identity than racism, but still a nicely done video.
