just a note i as a computer technician apprentice finds that pritty hard to live with considering if you're keyboard caught fire from inside most likely damaging all the structured layout cables so in theory a keyboard doesn't get enough power to catch fire UNLESS you catch it on fire ???.
I should have qualified that I was talking about a music keyboard. This is an old Casio sampler that was put in the main at the wrong voltage. A blue flame shot out from between the keys but as far as I can tell it still functions!
