@Bliss44 Ridge adopted Hope after Brooke left Nick after he forced the Forresters to sell him Forrester Creations. Deacon signed his rights away thats true but when he signed them he signed them over to Ridge not Nick. Nick and Eric were temporary father figures to Hope Ridge was always the one she called Dad.
Steffy doesn't want Hope to think of Ridge as her dad for the same reason Rick didn't want Ridge to call Eric his dad when it came out the Massimo was Ridge's dad.

@blalthaus there are actually plenty of vids where little Hope calls Nick dad and I seriously don't remember her considering Ridge to be her father and Deacon signed away his rights to Brooke not any of the men we're talkin about.

Ridge and loves about all his children - not only about Thomas and Steffy but also about RJ and Hope. Yes, Hope is not his biological daughter but she is his daughter in every other way.

Since she was Born Hope's had at least 4 dads. Deacon, Whip, Nick, and Ridge.
