  • great voice !!

  • Tom Allom produced this, who was also producing Priest at the time. May have had something to do with it.

  • yes..i was on this album..was much fun

  • @halford3256 are you rob halford?

  • @dfranz3925 no, he commented on a live motley crue video and called him a "MUTHA FUCKA". that's not rob halford.

  • my dad saw krokus and iron madden at a judas priest concert

  • Cara, essa música é incrivel

  • halford's the best part of this song. I don't get how Krokus is so hit and miss as song writers.

  • Barely hear him? even on this somewhat weaker quality upload i can hear him perfectly, and he kicks ass like always!

  • halford only sings on the ready to burn chorus section...................

  • for a second i thought it was wwIII

  • Never noticed until now.

  • this is like hiring a ferrari to drive at 20 miles an hour -what a waste of the metal god's voice and talent-krokus

  • look it's not like they hired him, he just heard them record the song and jumped into the booth and did his thing. still a great track.

  • how would you know?? you're 20, ;P

  • @Love4SK i know, but i can still read :)

  • I can't hear halford at all.

  • Listen closely...he comes in right at "Are you Ready, Ready to Burn"

  • Yeah, it's kinda hard to miss ol' Robbie Halford in here. I mean, can you mistake his voice for anyone else's?

I wish that he and Marc would have done more of a...closer duet, you know? I like both of thier voices, and putting them together, louder, would rock.

  • Man, I forgot ALL about this tune ... someone needs to do a high-res upload ... thanks for posting !!

    " Ready to burn !!!!! "

    From Canada, with Love !!

  • Wow thats crazy, I must have listened to this a hundred times when it came out, never caught Halford in it before, but yeah it's pretty obvious when pointed out. lol very cool.

  • same here.

  • This was produced by Tom Allom, who did a bunch of Priest around the same time.

  • Are you guys fuckin deaf?,you can clearly hear RH's voice in the song.If Rob let all his vocal range and power out you woundn't hear fuck all but him singing!.As soon as i heard this song and heard RH in it,i knew he was doing them a favor by singing back up vocals.

  • This could easily be little richards or ike turners groove blues!!! it sure has same feel..

  • What an unmistakable voice (Halford!).

  • oh yeah

     now I kinda hear it

  • Halford doesn't even do enough in this song to make a difference. I own the album and never even knew he was on it.

  • I never knew Halford sung on this, 2 f*#king metal monsters!!!! \m/

  • You can't get any more metal than this!!! Holy shit what a fucking awesome song and Halford just makes it even BETTER

  • good song i like it

  • ive even sean them live lol :P

  • Great it's good to know that Halford is on some more tracks. It gives this great classic Rock Album more excitement to listen to !!!!

with or with out Halford Krokus RULES!!!!

  • Is Halford on any other Krokus tracks? According to this interview...

"How did you guys get Rob Halford to sing on that record? How much of the album does he appear on?"

"Well as you know he did the duet with me on Ready to Burn. (breaks into song) ARE YOU READY?! ARE YOU READY TO BURN?! That was it. It was the main Rob Halford collaboration it was a great honor for Krokus." (webzine pivotalalliance)

  • @kurtespo agreed

  • dude ur on crak

  • wtf? This album is their best!

  • Great album for sure, but, I do like Headhunter best.

  • This is from headhunter dude.

  • Doh!

  • FFFUUUUCCCCCKKKKKKKK!!! I can hear Rob!!!!!

  • Yeah!!! I remember now. ahahahaha Go Fernando Von Arb!

  • Yep, that's Rob on the chorus. I've listened to this album lots of times and never noticed. This is way cool.

  • I wonder how Rob Halford became he backin vocals on the Krokus tracks? Maybe both bands were recording at the same studio or maybe the same record label. Halfornd may also have become good friends with the guys in Krokus.

  • They probably just knew each other since they both were playing heavy metal and they knew that Halford could sing

  • They toured with eachother, didn't they?

  • Krokus invited Halford as a guest on this track and a few other tracks & albums (not named or publicized unfortunately). If one listens carefully one can hear Halford backing on a few other songs. They indeed knew each other and were affliated somehow through the industry.

  • Were they lovers? .... Not hating here, I love Halford.

  • No they were not lovers

  • I know this was released before Change of Address. But I got to see Krokus open for Priest on JP's Fuel for Life tour. Krokus was out in support of Change of Address. It's likely the bands toured together in the early 80's as well. Two great bands for certain.

  • Rob Halford also sang backing on "Sreaming in the Night".

  • For real? Where did you get that?

  • Holy shit...this fucking rocks!!

  • WELL i NEVER NEW THAT ROB HALFORD WAS SINGING ON THE BACKING VOCALS / BUT YOU CAN HERE HIM CLEAR AS DAY IF YOU KNOW HIS SOUND

    COOL THANKS

  • You're welcome!!!

  • If you could hear it clear as day if you know his sound then how come you never "new" ?

  • Aww great song. I love Robs vocals at the refrain.

  • if you know how Rob Halford sounds like, you CAN hear him!

  • You know who else sang on that release?

Jimi Jamison, the singer from Cobra - better known as the Lead Singer for Survivor!

  • awesome! i can hear him as well

  • Great song, great album, great band!

    Hit the road, Jack!
