I recently stumbled on this video. I haven't heard this song since 1975. I have always remembered that 5000 volts was the artist and the song was excellent. It is still a great song and Tina Charles was and is an absolute babe!
In early 80's I remember listening to this song in a
Panasonic tape recorder enjoying my KHAT cheweing session in the middle of nowhere in the Horn of Africa. Those bygone days will never come back though one would wish to turn the clock back.

Nada contra o velho 5000 volts, mas esses dois idiotas aí estragaram tudo. Ao inves de colocarem duas meninas no backing, daí a coisa ia ficar ao nivel da Tina, que era super gatinha, hein?
la mejor voz femenina que yo he escuchado supera por mucho algunas que se dicen cantantes como dije fabulosa, podias haber cantado rock con esa energia y serias legenda no solo del disco sino seria un clasico,extraordinaria.
People don't realize today how shocking this sound really was, especially to european audiences. The audience here (Germany? Scaninavia?) are seemingly at a loss over how to react to this obvious dance song. They are all in their seats, reserved, poised in in their best behaviour, almost confused by the "DISCO". I remember this song well, I bought the 45 and still have it today.
