ya know what i havent seen as a AR game, and this is one of the most simplest most addictive games ever and i reccon that it would be able to be done with AR and that is a maze game, like the ones made of wood and you have a silver ball and have holes that u have to avoid and such, i mean maybe you would have o supper impose the ball but you could use a marker for the maze and move the marker around and have the ball move, would that be possible?

I like the new development with VR games, but the Augmented Reality has to, just as it says, add something to the game.

I understand it's really cool to play a game on your kitchen table, but does it add something to the game?

With eyepet this is worked out in a whole different way, there it really adds something.

I really find this good for miniature wargaming. Instead of using a ruler to measure the distance between two objects, you can use this. Thats all, not the same as having the miniatures in real.

The only thing that was good in Gizmondo was the studio in southern Sweden.

They did the Augmented Reality code.. yes.. There is no hardware here .. just taking a photo and decode the screen to find symbols to place 3D stuff on the screen. hehe .. JUST

Puggster speaks the truth. I've been looking for a gizmondo to buy for a couple of years now, but never found one... :/ I seriously want one, if only for some of the games and the handy GPS function. Gizmondo would probably have been a better handheld than the PSP, though they are apparently working on the gizmondo widescreen. I hope to see some success from that.

These were sold for a VERY short time, a local mall near Seattle had a booth with stacks of them, I got to hold one for a few minutes and picked up a booth 'coming soon' flyer. The sales man didn't seem too happy about being there. Very few people even seemed to acknowledge the displays existence! I didn't play any games-I think there were only 3-4 games there at the booth anyway. But I did notice a very long boot-up time once turned on...it did have a very nice screen!

They blew their money on establishing a Gizmondo boutique in Manchester before they'd even started taking orders, after all. It's sad, because you had real game developers working on real games that would never see the light of day. Don't get me started on "Johnny Whatever."
