  • Peace upon sacred Jerusalem. Peace upon all people of all faiths.

  • live tha song end i lovee israel viva jerusalem

  • @Enoin05 There already was a "real Jesus" :). He had a beautiful soul, and whether he was divine or human I find to be irrelevant. I was raised Catholic, and I find his teachings to be about peace and love, just as other holy men across all religions and cultures have preached. We can all be good, honest, loving people to each other if we follow these brilliant men and their impeccable wisdom =D

  • I love how there is not one "youtube fight" on the comments. Matis would be proud. Peace and Love yall.

  • I bought the Live At Stubb's Vol. 2 album. This song is not on it.

  • @Bartholomule01 I know, I hate that. It's still a great album, but I wish it had the whole show, not just a few handpicked tracks...and this is a great performance.

  • @Bartholomule01 It was a bonus on the pre-order download. It's also on the DVD as well as a few other songs. I think that the DVD is the closest you'll get to being there. I think for time constraints, they had to edit out a few songs from the CD.

  • 11 people are fools.

  • Too bad I have to download this elsewhere, seeing how it wasn't on the album...great fucking song.

  • @komedydude the youth album has it

  • The best live performer on this planet.

    just incredible!

  • Yes!!

  • anyone know if the band members are the same?? dont recognise any of them?

  • @kfunkdeluxe --> He's using members of "Dub Trio" for this performance

  • Where can I get an mp3 of this?

  • @jonbond1779 Get the Cucusoft YouTube Mate....

  • @jonbond1779 you have to buy his 75 dollar pack of stubbs 2 off his website

  • @deftones953 I got the pre-order download, "Jerusalem" was on there. $9.99.

  • I really wish this was on the CD I bought!!!!!!!!!11

  • absolute bull shit!!! I didn't realize you couldn't get this song if you didn't pre-order it!!!! that's fucking bullshit!!!

  • F.T.W. to the max!!!!!!

  • So sick matis!

  • Matis - ROCK THE CLOCK!!!!

  • JERUSALEM IF I FORGET YOU!

BEST VERSION OF JERUSALEM, MATIS YOU ARE BEAST!

  • great stuff

  • Great music!!!

  • This is a great video. I think this album will be worth it just for this track and a couple others of course.

  • piece piece piece...respect this man !

  • Kol Ha Kavod !!

But what is that Kafiia (Arafat's Scarf) doing on stage? :S

Altough It's In The Colours Of Israel, I Don't Like The Idea That A Jewish Artist Wears A Scarf That Is Introduced By A Man Who Hated (Zionistic) Jews

  • @yuval118 "All my life I've been waiting for I've been praying for for the people to say

that we don't wanna fight no more

    they'll be no more wars

    and our children will play"

I guess what I am trying to say is listen to what Matis is saying. one man can start the revolution against hate, and give us a land where our children will play.

  • @yuval118 its about peace between the two opposing groups

  • @yuval118 arafat's scarf? it's shit like that which kindles the fires of prejudice and hate. I happen to have BEAUTIFUL SCARF FROM iSRAEL -- it is black and white (swooning over hounds tooth pattern)

  • Brilliant!!

  • livein his faith, must have been burnin alot of fatties in worship however the judice is preaching also man

  • Just plain awesome. Incredible vibes

  • you shouldn't judge this song and singer just for his beliefs, but as music. Matisyahu really rocks!!

  • i was there! i have a video on my channel of him performing one day at that concert

  • you guys are racist his judiasm has nothing to do with his talent, you cant just define someone by what they belive in, its like someone writing on jay z's videos" your re really cool go christians, it just sounds stupid.

  • @TheAj53 I agree. I'm Muslim and us and Jews haven't had the greatest of relationships throughout history, but I gotta say I love this guy and respect him and his beliefs.

  • @zmannx25 Bless you for that. I'm a Jew, and I have several Muslim friends. I really don't see why people think we should hate each other.

  • @zmannx25 I don't know that I agree with that premise, all the history I've studied indicated that Muslims and Jews have shared and lived together harmoniously throughout the middle east for a long time.

  • @truthslap Was that in Sesame St.?

Anyways, this guy is hella awesome!

  • @FlySpleen No, it's basic World History. Perhaps you'd rather do some reading than make cheap jokes? There aren't just a few books on the subject, one I'd recommend is "Breakthrough: Transforming Fear into Compassion: A New Perspective on the Israel-Palestine Conflict" by Richard Forer.

  • @truthslap I think I misunderstood you, sorry.

I thought you meant that in the close past there was peacefulness between Muslims and Jews, when there obviously wasn't any.

Also, the far past wasn't that wonderful, especially with mass massacres of Jews in the Muhammad's days, but it was indeed better than today.

  • @FlySpleen you're right that tensions have been high between the Arabs and Jews since the breakdown of the British Mandate for Palestine, along with it all the equality and rights of Palestinian Arab people. Further terrorism carried out by Irgun, Lehi (the Stern Gang) and other groups have contributed to the cold relations. Jews lived harmoniously with Arabs under Moorish rule, as indeed the Old Testament instructs us to be good neighbors and citizens, and always had good relations with Arabs.

  • @truthslap Yep, I'm definitely not blaming the Jews, although Etzel and Lehi have done some pretty horrible acts of terrorism (the Irgun acted less with terrorism), and Jews have been living peacefully with Arabs.

If there was anyone to blame it wouldn't be the Jews but then, I wasn't really talking about Jews living in Arabian countries, I was talking about the relationship between two religions.

  • @FlySpleen well I'm not sure I can entirely agree with your first point, an overwhelming use of force naturally coincides with an overwhelming majority of power, which Israel obviously has and the Palestinians lack any trace of now. what do you mean Irgun acted with less terrorism, what about the King David Hotel bombing? on your last point though, I apologize for my misunderstanding, most people refer to the cultural and geo-political conflicts between the Arabs and Jews not religious conflict.

  • @truthslap Everywhere I go people always refer to Muslims as Arabs, so I don't blame you for the misunderstanding.

Regarding the King David hotel bombing, it was done by the Etzel.

Yes, the Etzel was considered part of the Irgun but the Irgun disagreed entirely to take any responsibility since they tried to force the Etzel earlier to cancel the bombing.

And that's that, good day :)

  • @FlySpleen I'd always heard the Palestinian people alternately referred to as Palestinian Arabs, I thought they had to be Arab if they were called such, my mistake. I also wasn't entirely clear on the details of the hotel bombing, I had no idea Irgun tried to force Etzel to cancel the bombing, also my mistake. Good day to you too my friend.

  • @zmannx25 Shalom Aleichem, brother.

  • @TheAj53 i totally agree, nut its absolutely impossible to ignore his beliefs when all of his music is about Judaism or jewish people in one way or another. being Jewish myself, i find him to be courageous and extremely talented. it may be a **shocker ** but ppl hate jews out there and he brings the jewish message to the limelight.

  • Wow this guy is so good ... better than hitler rapping (if you don't get this comment look up that video)

  • 10 people have no soul

  • he can change his voice so amazing high and law

  • A big what what from a californian Jew!!

  • If this was a drug I would fill my blood with it

  • Very nice, very nice and very nice!!!

  • This sounds alittle forced and way too electric to me

  • As much as I miss Matis's old band (especially Aaron Dugan), his current band is pretty awesome, especially Stu Brooks on bass - when I saw him last year, it made me decide to go out and get a bass and learn to play, which I've since done.

  • @geoprism930 good for you man, thats awesome

  • Comment removed

  • What happened to your roots Matis?? I miss the the three piece band, and now it seems like your music is going in a more poppy direction. It doesn't sound bad, but please bring back the roots reggae! Shake off the pop dust, and ARISE! blessings to you and your family.

  • Oh Zion God calls out to you . blessed are those who bless God's anointed for God will always be with them.

  • @CaliHco86

I had planned to go to his concert in Poland, but it turned out that my father had to work. So I would not be in Poland at the time of the concert :(

  • Love it, love it, love it! Israel lives!

  • אוהב אותך

  • @BosnianKnight1986 Only Hashem can decide the fate of Israel, it has nothing to do with the Muslims. In 3000 years every group that has tried to annihilate the Jews in history has disappeared and the Nation of Israel LIVES. AM YISRAEL CHAI

  • is their gonna be a dvd released of the show as well?

  • wow Love it nice

  • A very good version of Jerusalem , less RnB than the original , I love it !

  • Really good, sham it's a religious song, might buy your cd though, I like how it sounds.

  • @faraoseth Wow way to sound ignorant, if You have a problem with religion dont complain about it and dont listen to this music. You know Matisyahu is Jewish why complain about the music? way to have a closed mind, its music its ment to make people like you think.

  • @lotsofgirrafes I liked the music, I think it's a shame the song is purely religious, because I don't believe what he is singing, I love his voice and the beat, but, the lyrics arent my thing, can't I say I like a song, but not the message? What the hell, you are the one sounding ignorant.

  • @faraoseth Imagine how boring music would be if people only listened to songs that mirrored their views. Music is as diverse as the people who create it.
