  • wow how do you make a sims 3 horror movie with voices i really want to make horror movies like i know what you did last summer and the texas chainsaw massacre and halloween etc

but need to know how to do it and what i need

  • @OOOOLEANNEOOOO It's way too complex and long to explain here but I'd recommend following good tutorials and experimenting. Simatography, where I'm an admin has some useful tutorials for machinima creators, as does youtube. The link is on my main channel. Good luck :)

  • @SSMusicProductions thanks i'll give it a try but i will never have talent like this you are amazing this is epic :)

  • @AutumnWinds53 Thanks :) It's easy to miss, I have a lot of videos uploaded lol. Glad you found it in the end and enjoyed it. This was fun to make. I love writing, and bringing stories and characters to life in a movie :)

  • This was AMAZING! You would have one even though you couldn't :) Fantastic Job!!!!

  • @ipodtouchgirl21 Aww thanks :) Glad you enjoyed it. It was fun to make. I love bringing stories and characters to life on the screen :)

  • this was really amazing :) best sims movie ive ever watched ! good job!

  • @twinzinthehouse Thanks :) That's an awesome compliment. Glad you enjoyed the movie :) It was hard work, but fun making it.

  • Wow I love it..You are good at this storytelling business! What type of editor did you use? Your pictures look crisp and clear. This is my favorite sims 3 movie!

  • @mycutesims Thanks :) That's awesome :) I've always loved writing and it's fun bringing stories and characters to live through machinima. For video editing I use Sony Vegas. I film uncompressed then convert the whole video to a high quality compressed format for youtube.

  • @SSMusicProductions You are welcome. Keep doing it. I hear sony vegas is great but I have mac and not many good things work with apple. Bummer..

  • @mycutesims It's a shame that some software doesn't support the Mac. Sony Vegas is great and has a lot of features. It's quick and easy to use too. I even use it for audio production. Maybe there is an equivalent software for the Mac.

  • Maybe a little slow, but otherwise awesome :)

  • @TheExploradores Thanks :) I wanted to build the story up slowly to get as much character development in 20 minutes as I could. Glad you enjoyed it :)

  • Lol ! Awesome effects on blood <3

  • Great story video guys. For what sims 3 has to offer, the story worked well with it. lol at the gun + blood stuff.

  • @aleche96 Thanks :) Glad you enjoyed the story. The bullet scenes and the blood were fun to do.

  • This was actually awsome, but I don't get it. It made sense right up to the bit where Tom's the one who dies and Jennifer's the one getting revenge.

  • @Aabco35 Thanks :) Glad you enjoyed it. I confuse myself at times with my storylines lol. The scenes in the prison were all in his head basically as he was dying. He was the one who has been mortally wounded, not Jennifer, but because of brain damage and he was dying, he had a 30 year dream while he was in the coma. Hope it makes more sense :)

  • The voice acting is beyond awesomeness! I love your movies!! :D

  • @FAProd2009 Thanks :) It's so awesome you like the voice acting. It can be tough just having two of us acting all the roles. I really like your work too. I plan to check out more of your videos when things are less insane :)

  • This was amazing!!!!!! I loved every second of it! :D

  • @twilightkittycat Thanks :) Glad you enjoyed it. I had fun making it :)

  • Is this music from inception??

  • @Ayri23 It is indeed :)

  • Ah-May-Zing stuff!!! This is very cool! I joined the SIFF community yesterday and am a complete and utter newbie at photography and machinima. I really need help with important things like moviemaking tips (mods, CC, worlds, general stuff, the best EP to get for movie making etc.) I'm an excellent writer but I find it hard to carry out my ideas through the Sims. Help!

  • @TutorialsSims Thanks :) It's awesome you joined Simatography :) There are many good tutorials there which will help with filming and photography :) And of course the forums :) It's awesome you want to start making movies and have your characters and plotlines come to life. It can be difficult at times due to the limitations but I and other machinima director there can help. The most important tips I can give is to find your own style and to have fun :)

  • lol wow, nobodies gottin hurt just by doing that?

  • @XBOXNationTVHD lol, it depends on the height of the roof. A 4 storey building yeah, but a small single storey one like a garage no problem lol.

  • @SSMusicProductions lol,Damn dude. You should has a side channel and capture all that.

  • @XBOXNationTVHD lol, we haven't done anything like that for a while, it was when we were younger. I'm a responsible 20 year old adult now, honest lol.

  • @SSMusicProductions Aaah if sucks gettin old dosn't it.Can't do what you use to do.

  • @XBOXNationTVHD We still have a laugh and fun :)

  • @SSMusicProductions hah good old times do you have fun at colleage latley?

  • @XBOXNationTVHD Indeed I do :) Although it's the summer vacation now so I'm working, but I have fun there too as well as having a laugh with friends. Humor is very important to me.

  • @SSMusicProductions Where exactly do you work,sir?

  • @XBOXNationTVHD I travel around a lot, I'm not based in one place. I can't tell you exactly where though as it's a matter of national security. So where do you work/study?

  • @SSMusicProductions I'am,right now taking classes for game design, physics and graphics,My cousin works at EA.

  • @XBOXNationTVHD Those classes sound fun. You plan to be a game designer? Awesome. I like physics too. It's awesome your cousin works at EA. Must be fun.

  • @SSMusicProductions yeah but i'm just starting out right now.

  • @XBOXNationTVHD Good luck, hope you achieve your ambition.

  • @SSMusicProductions Also you should check out Minecraft,People have build some impressive stuff on there and look up minecraft modern house.

  • @XBOXNationTVHD Awesome, I'll do that when things have settled down a bit.

  • @SSMusicProductions Wow,whats going on?

  • @XBOXNationTVHD I'm hardly at my computer at the moment, with work, travel and nights out, it's insane lol.

  • @SSMusicProductions You are one hard workin man,man

  • @XBOXNationTVHD Yeah, I really need tgo chill but won't be able to for a while yet.

  • @SSMusicProductions Dude you do need to chill, just leave a video that says "I'm gonna take a few days off you guys and start another video later "or something like that.

  • @XBOXNationTVHD Yeah, I'm hoping to get some chill time but I have the script for ep 31 to do soonish then filmed. I have an article to write before the end of August too. I have a holiday coming up soon though which will give me some chill time :) I want to get these done before that though.

  • @SSMusicProductions Ep 31,WOW! Do you have a plan for Sims 4 or something cause you are overloading the brain you have with smart idea's.

  • @XBOXNationTVHD lol my head feels like it's gonna cataclysmically implode with all the ideas I have. Now, I just need to build a time machine or that USB port in my head to implement them all.

  • This is like a love story. A very sad one at that. But it is most buttiful.

  • @MyStatMusic Thanks :) Indeed, this is a tragic, sad love story in essence. Glad you enjoyed it :)

  • im kinda confused, did he die at the hospital? and was the whole jail thing a dream? did she really die or was she pretending? im so confused right now >.<

  • @VampirePrincess4jc Basically, the whole jail scenes were happening inside his head as he was dying, and didn't happen in reality. Everything after the shotting didn't happen, except the very end. Hope that clarifies it a bit :)

  • @SSMusicProductions yes it dose, thankyou :) <3

  • Very nice! This is a piece of work, great job!

  • @XBOXNationTVHD Thanks :) Glad you enjoyed the movie :)

  • @SSMusicProductions Hey, how come it takes you so long to reply to someone?

  • @XBOXNationTVHD I'm out most of the week, and away most weekends. I get a lot of emails/messages a day (I do otther stuff too not just here) so it can take a while to respond. I do respond to all, eventually, many people don't. To give you an example, I've been home today and started catching up about 10 hours ago, I'm still not fully caught up yet lol. It's insanely manic I tell ya.

  • @SSMusicProductions Dude that sucks,I feel bad that you still need to catch up to everyone in responce.

  • @XBOXNationTVHD I don't mind, I like to reply to everyone, but it can take me a while if I'm not around.

  • @SSMusicProductions Do you work or just try to have spare time.

  • @XBOXNationTVHD I'm at college, but I'm working for the summer holidays. I didn't have a break, I finished my last exam for the year then started working straight after. I'm out quite a bit too, and I'm not at my sims computer most weekends, so I can only work on the series at certain times. I wish there were 50 hours in a day lol.

  • @SSMusicProductions Why are you in college? What career are you tryin to get in to?

  • @XBOXNationTVHD It's taken a while again, been away for the weekend. I'm studying computer science, tech stuff mainly but I'd love to be an author or movie director. That would be awesome. College is fun too though.

  • @SSMusicProductions Why an author?do you like writing books a lot or sometimes.

  • @XBOXNationTVHD I love writing, and seeing stories and characters come to life. I really enjoy working on the series, and writing the scripts, so being a script writer would be awesome too.

  • @SSMusicProductions but what do you really want beside writing?

  • @XBOXNationTVHD That's a tough one to answer lol. You mean careerwise? Or in general?

  • @SSMusicProductions both, just to make it hard on you.

  • @XBOXNationTVHD lol. Careerwise I'd really love to be a movie director, script writer or being a voice actor would be fun too. In general, a USB port in my head would be useful lol. I have so many ideas about stories and stuff but they take so long to actually film. I could then think about the scenes and it magically appears as an avi on my hard drive lol.

  • @SSMusicProductions so your just like a glass ball with 1.000.000's idea's ready to burst! Your destiny is doing what you love to do the most and thats working as a director.Do it man, DO IT!

  • @XBOXNationTVHD Indeed lol which is why the series has 29 episodes so far and isn't nearly done yet. I have so many ideas, it's insane lol. Being a director would be so awesome :) What do you wanna do or are doing?

  • @SSMusicProductions You should totally try to do a Sci-fi movie!

  • @XBOXNationTVHD I'd like to. I have lots of ideas for one but it's getting the time to do this. Maybe when things aren't quite so hectic, or I get that USB port in my head lol.

  • @SSMusicProductions lol.when you get the time do it.

  • @XBOXNationTVHD I definitely plan to :)

  • @SSMusicProductions Thats right buddy or ill find you.

  • @XBOXNationTVHD lol. I may think about doing this towards the end of the vacation. It may be a little less manic then.

  • @SSMusicProductions Hey can you do tribute to Ryan Dunn?

  • @XBOXNationTVHD Unfortunately I haven't really seen any of his work so I wouldn't be the best person to do a tribute. My condolences go out to his friends and family though.

  • @SSMusicProductions well just do pictures and have a sad song.

  • @XBOXNationTVHD I don't have the time unfortunately :/ Been furiously working on episode 30, trying to get it done, but it's a tough beast to make, so it's taking longer than usual.

  • @SSMusicProductions Do ever get any time off cause it seems your always busy and no time off.

  • @XBOXNationTVHD I get weekends to chill, and have fun, and I'm often away or out, so can't work on projects most weekends.

  • @SSMusicProductions Go to Parties?

  • @XBOXNationTVHD Yeah, most weekends, I also see quite a few lives bands, and generally meet up with friends. It's fun :)

  • @SSMusicProductions You should let me go with you.:)

  • @XBOXNationTVHD It's definitely fun, we're all a little insane lol :)

  • @SSMusicProductions lol dude have any of you guys done anything extreme?

  • @XBOXNationTVHD Depends what you mean by extreme lol, and in what context.

  • @SSMusicProductions jumped off roofs any thing?

  • @XBOXNationTVHD Yeah, done stuff like that lol.

  • @SSMusicProductions lol wow, nobodies gottin hurt just by doing that?

  • Loved the twist at the end! Great job...may I ask where your music came from?

  • @Jasumi Thanks :) Glad you enjoyed the story :) The music is mainly by Hans Zimmer, from the movie Inception. I think I may have listed the track names of the soundtrack in the credits. He composes some really awesome music :)

  • @SSMusicProductions Glad alot! Never watched that movie so I never wold have known lol

  • @Jasumi No problem. Inception is such an awesome movie, if you get the chance to watch it, I think you'd like it :)

  • that was SOOO INTENSE.

  • @devine3111 It was very intense for me to make. Originally it started off as quite a simple story lol.

  • beautiful work! your filming was amazing. did you use fraps or some other program to get the game in such nice quality? and i am kind of confused about the ending :P so, the story was all a dream? did jennifer end up killing the innocent guy? and who was the guy in the prison cell? hope to see your reply! ♥

  • @3WordsArentEnough Thanks :) To film I used the ingame camera. It does a great job and is more versatile than FRAPS. I film uncopressed though, which retains the quality until I render for youtube. They are huge files though and I'm always running out of disk space lol. It was like a dream in that it enever happened, well, the bit after he was shot. It was his mind creating this illusion as he was dying. And yes, jennifer did get revenge although the guy wasn't innocent.

  • @SSMusicProductions The guy in the cell was Tom, but older. His mind created an alternative reality while he was dying, and he was trapped there for over 30 years. Hope that helps :) My writing can be very convoluted lol.

  • @SSMusicProductions really? i film uncompressed too, but my footage looks nothing like yours! i'm jealous of your computer specs! ;) and thank you so much for clarifying! it makes much more sense now :)

  • @3WordsArentEnough The computer I use to film has XP which I've tweaked which isn't as resource hungry as Vista or Win 7. I also use 3 separate disk drives, one running the OS with the swap file, the second has the game installed, and the third is what I use to film to, so none of the drives are overly worked. Glad the story makes more sense :)

  • @aminaaaaab Good luck, hope you do find one :) Maybe mod the sims has one there. They have a lot of content.

  • @aminaaaaab It's a mod by melissa, a handheld gun. Not sure where I got it from as the original site went down a while back. Equipping the gun from the accessories menu will make them always hold it.

  • @aminaaaaab Thanks :) It was challenging to make but fun.

  • Amazing.

  • @rraacchh2 Thanks :) Glad you enjoyed it.

  • Wait so in his coma he was imagining all of this? then when he died in his coma he died because she pulled the plug? i dont get it.

  • @SalemVaykioLavaunch That's more or less what happened except that he was dying/dead anyway, so when she pulled the plug, both deaths coincided, the coma alternative reality and the real world. It's a bit of a head messer though on many levels.

  • This was just amazing! I almost forgot that it was made with Sims :)

Also, I'm jealous about Los Aniegos functioning so smoothly in your game, my version is REALLY laggy at times... but I still love that world *lol*

  • @NorthernStar1991 Thanks :) A lot of people have problems with Los Aniegos as it's so big and detailed, even those with high specc'ed computers. The computer I use for filming has XP which probably helps as it's less resource intensive that Vista/Win 7. It's an awesome world, I so totally agree.

  • that was the most powerful story i've ever seen.

  • @waterfairy555 Thanks :) I spent quite a while developing and refining the story and script, so it's awesome you enjoyed it.

  • Omg! This is so great! I nearly cryed in the end. Fabulous work!

  • @AlexSilent146 Thanks :)

  • GREAT! Very CATCHING! I love it! Such an UNPREDICTABLE plot!

    TERRIFIC!

  • @svetlana44cute Thanks :) I like surprises so I'm a fan of writing unpredictable plots and twists. Glad you enjoyed the movie :)

  • This is absolutely wonderful creation to watch. So mystery like. You did a get job with directing and the way the sims did their mad talk/look on their faces is funny...I liked that. Great effects!

  • @zoeyzuko Thanks :) It's so cool you enjoyed the movie, and the expressions on the Sims faces.

  • I've expected to find your video in the category "Best SIFF Films", but I didn't :(

    Where wil I find it ??? =)

Ohhh you've done a brilliant job with this video !!! Love it *___*

  • @TitusLinde Thanks :) Because I'm one of the Administrators and organizers of SIFF, Vengeance isn't being included in the polls. Neither is Minraed's movie, Lucinda. We wanted this competition to be for the members primarily, although both our movies will be showcased in the SIFF magazine. I'm sorry you couldn't have a chance to vote for it, I really appreciate your continual support :)

  • @SSMusicProductions

O.K. :( That makes sense but... now I have to make new decisions ;) o...o...

    Greetings ^^

  • Wow...this was gorgeous and so moving!

  • I miss the handsome gothic Alexander ( eyes sparkle ) anyway u can bring him back to me!

  • @Zjamie12 I'm working on the audio and processing all the voice acting files before I start filming. I should hopefully have episode 27 done if all goes to plan at the start of next week :)

  • loved it!!!!ur such a genious!!!

  • @SuperBabygirl130 Thanks :) I'm so glad you enjoyed it :)

  • SS the way you left it off could be a sequil, show what she did after she fired the gun. It'd be good, unless she died in a coma and he survived and it ended like that,it'd be kinda stupid if that happened(If there was a second one)

  • Comment removed

  • @beckababes1907 Thanks :) It's so cool you enjoyed the movie. I'll be working on EoE this coming week, so hopefully ep 27 should be done by the end of the following week.

  • Huzzah! I knew this would be great. Congrats!

  • @freyamoon Thanks :) Glad you liked it :)

  • I think i started to cry! you do an awesome job at bringing your characters to life! can not wait for the contuinuation of Emporer of Evil! once again another awesome piece of work!

  • I think i started to cry! you do an awesome job at bringing your characters to life! can not wait for the contuinuation of Emporer of Evil!

  • @mightybeangal22 Thanks :) It can be difficult writing characters but I try to focus on character development and give them depth. I'll be writing the script for ep 27 of EoE this week ready for voice acting at the weekend. If all goes to plan it should be ready by the end of the following week :)

  • @SSMusicProductions You better hurry on that ive had a bag of popcorn waiting in the kitchen to watch EoE

  • Very awesome, I like the storytelling. :)

And it reminds me that revenge is the nature of human being.

  • @Nebunedzar Thanks :) I'm glad you enjoyed it. Indeed revenge is often part of human nature, but also love is a powerful driving force.

  • Hey, I'm back again as I don't think my first comment sufficiently expressed my enjoyment of this movie. You really are an amazingly talented writer and director. Although I've followed EoE for a long time and have always had praise for your series, I think that you're way too creative to not make more stand alone concepts and movies like this one. Even as I look forward to more EoE episodes, I would also love to see more brilliant shorts like this. I feel you have A LOT more to offer us.

  • @sylentwhysper Thanks Sylent :) I really appreciate your continual support :) I love writing and telling a story, and machinima is an excellent way to bring stories to life. I'm already planning the next episode of EoE, but I do want to make more short stand alone movies too. The new Sims 3 animator tool should open up even more possibilities :)

  • wow, that was amazing, Im sorry it took me so long to watch it, been busy, but wow, brought tears to my eyes! as always your amazing at what you do! thank you for your hard work!

  • @sis21721 Aww thanks :) It's so cool you enjoyed the movie.

  • WOW!!!!! AMAZING JOB SS!!!!!! LOVED IT!!!!!!

  • @stcyhood Awesome :) And thanks :)

  • Oh my gosh I loved it! You are so good at this! I'm confused about the end but I don't care lol. Amazing!

  • @Starsimmer1999 Thanks :) I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I admit, my writing can be very confusing, even to me lol.

  • Wait i dont understand...Was he already dead?

  • @Silver7161 He was on the verge of death, yes. I admit, it's a very convoluted story and a head messer on many levels. I was getting confused at times with what had really happened lol.

  • @Silver7161 Okay.........So his whole story was a dream...?SS youve got a brilliant mind when it comes to filmming...

  • That was amazing! You have some awesome talent. The trailer doesn't even hint at the depth of this movie.

  • @jorghahaq Thanks :) I made the trailer a while before I started on Vengeance. I think I would have still had problems though if I had made it later on, as it's so difficult to do one without giving anything away. G;lad you enjoyed the movie :)

  • wow, 2 minutes in i was getting freaked out, 8 minutes in I realized the burglar sounds like a friend of mine (lol) and 20 minutes in I was full convinced this was one of the best machinimas ever.

  • @SimRomanov Thanks :) He sounds like your friend? lol. I always wondered if any of the random voices I do sound like real people. It's so cool you enjoyed the movie.

  • SSMusicProductions I don't think you could ever fail to impress!!! Loved every bit of your movie and the twist at the end was very well done, as well as your effects.

Its not easy to create a sense of empathy with sim characters sometimes, but you can't help but feel for Tom and Jennifer in this movie. Congrats!

  • @LilMSims Thanks :) It can be very difficult to create a sense of empathy, I agree, especially with such limited length of time for the movie, but it's so awesome that it worked :)

  • I want to also add how honoured I am to have you as part of our SIFF and Simatography team. Thank you for everything - including the technical support, inspiration and everything else.

  • @Minraed Thanks Min :) I'm honored to be part of the team :) If it wasn't for you, we wouldn't have Simatography. It's really awesome you decided to set the site up, and have the idea for SIFF.

  • wow! that caught me off guard. Great ending! And, exciting to see what you can do with a non-EoE storyline. Awesome!

  • @Minraed Thanks Min :) It was fun trying something different. Glad you enjoyed it :)

  • Wow, what a great Movie! I saw the Trailer and It's more great (Sorry, my english) than I expected ;) awesome work!

  • @litletiger96 Thanks :) I made the trailer before I'd even written the script, but it's so awesome you enjoyed the movie.

  • That was amazing, I almost forgot I was watching a Sims3 movie.

The music tied it all together so well... and your techniques/camera movements are flawless.

I'm almost too embarrased to release my movie now lol!

  • @jinjaninjaproduction Thanks :) Hans Zimmer is one of my favorite composers. It's so cool you enjoyed it. Your movie Aiken is gonna be awesome :)
