  • If both of those had solid front axles, better lift options, and maybe a diesel option they would eat jeeps alive

  • nice

  • @ Travisg91 hey these people clearly didn't lubricate their new lift parts because they're stupid as fuck. My Fj does not squeak like that

  • @Alibyo80 - The noise was from a damaged damper. It went away upon replacing it with a new one. There was no error with the installation.

  • great video guys, let some more air out of the tires and you might not have whiplash as bad, and wont mark up the sidewalls as bad, but yea i know that trails bumpy as hell anyways,, keep up the good work.

  • sorry but i could do this trail in my grandmas stock subaru outback

  • @robzomby11 ANd they need a spotter?

  • @BulletTooth32 sad thats why you buy an older truck and soup it up to be able to do this as easy as driving to work

  • @robzomby11 Too Right. That's what i'm doing. Got a nice junker bronco and fixing it up

  • is it just me or do all toyotas have squeakes in them lol

  • What trail is this?

  • @Ricoshady I'm not really sure, but we accessed it several miles east of the eastern entrance to the park off of the 29 Palms Hwy. I was following someone who knew where to go. I'd bet it's in most trail books that include the area.

  • @WebbRacingdotcom I think it's the road to the Black Eagle Mine Road but i'm not possitive.

  • am i missing something? i dont even see one jeep in this video??

  • i bet that tire tread on the side of the fj is from a jeep.

  • If a jeep can barely climb some rocks then it wont be able to crawl on a fj

  • haha...ok, you got me....jeeps are terrible off-road. not sure where they got their rep. by the way, sweet vid's ANDYX1A

  • Hhaha Thanks!

  • @mrtxj they got their rep from their original cars which were by the way awesome. but today they are ok but not excellent, they were "famous" for getting the military's contract and they were followed by hummvee

  • The Jeep went bankrupt lol ... shows how good they are!

  • no, it shows that people can even ruin heaven.

  • @michmccie You know back in the "old days", like chuckwagon days, they blazed trails much the same. Sure the going was a little harder considering they had actual horse power and not horsepower, but trails and roads were nonetheless made and quite definite depending on the place. It's not some 'modern' thing as you suggest

All I can say that when I go hiking and mountain biking in backcountry the largest habitat destruction I see comes from the shoes of horses. I doubt you're complaining of that

  • @mtb416

you are a retard, you responded to michaelmccaine's msg with some random shit that had nothing to do with what he said.

  • @acousticfunk I am a retard? Considering you're using the word 'retard' I will not take that as an insult, but rather that the simple analogy I used went over your head.

  • @mtb416

really, because it sounded more like you putting words into someones mouth so you could then tell everyone your opinion. You misunderstood what i was referring to, which was the comment above mine

from JKthedoc: "jeep went bankrupt LOL shows how good they are"

to which i replied: "no, it shows that people can even ruin heaven"

You are like a child that wonders into a room and has no frame of reference.

  • @acousticfunk

also even if you hadn't grossly misunderstood the very simple situation and your analogy was apt, it was still a weak and near sighted analogy.....

  • @acousticfunk weak and near-sighted analogy? Who the hell are you? You call people 'retarded' yet you label me as "near sighted"? Perhaps if you had some consistency it would make a dent, but as of now we have a 'retard' calling other people retards. The pot and ketlle thing, ya know? Is that simile ok with you? Or is it myopic as well? lmao

  • @acousticfunk Jeep has never gone bankrupt. Just because the conglomerate does, Chrysler, does not mean Jeep is or will. A conglomerate begins to become solvent when the overall take is less than the give, it does not mean Jeep itself is or ever was bankrupt.

And surely you mean "wanders" right? Ha. I was wrong to assume, yes, and you were wrong to think that since you were already involved in the conversation you somehow intrisically know what the hell you're talking about. Obviously not.

  • That was so lame..

  • fj looks solid nice bro

  • I've got a Rubicon and I'm getting ideas for my dad's FJ. Do you mind giving info on the tire size and bumpers?

  • The tires are LT285/75R-16 Yokohama Geolanders. I went down an inch in rim diameter to accommodate the larger (taller) tires. The bumpers are both from All-Pro Offroad. I had them painted silver to match the body because I thought it made the FJ look a bit lighter on its feet.

  • are those domello sliders?

  • They're from All-Pro Off Road.

  • That's freakin' awesome, I'll need to do that with my FJ soon.

  • how much lift do you have?

  • It's about a 2-3" lift from All-Pro Offroad. I really like it.

  • thats fucking nice fj i want mine to look like that

  • thats awsome man! nice fj

  • Nice looking FJ.

doesn't that squeak in your suspension drive you crazy?

  • Yes - had it fixed long ago!
